Hey Den I'm sure you know alot about Call of Duty World at War, as I've read you detailed weapon stats guide, I have a couple of questions about the M2 Flamethrower and DB(Double-Barreled) Shotgun. - does Sleight of Hand improve refuel time on flamethrower? - does aiming down sight improve accuracy/spread if not does it provide ''clearer'' aiming on the DB Shotgun AND flamethrower? - Grip on DB Shotgun do anything? if so is it worth the loss of perk 1? - Isnt the flamethrower a equal/better equivalent to the shotgun? - How effecting is the wall penetration with Saw Off, Stopping Power and Deep Impact?
You are my bro, bro.
EDIT: den this might fall under technical discussion about the game so if you want to you can move it, thanks

- Nope, but Double Tap will cause it to throw and overheat faster.
- Nope on all shotguns (except the Saw-Off Double Barrel, which gets a tiny improvement on its massive spread), nope on flamethrower.
- It decreases kick by but the smallest amount, considering you only have two shots before you need to reload, the loss of the Blue perk is a massive negative.
-Tough to say. Statistically in a head-on fight, a single well-aimed shotgun blast will outdo the flame (with 100 health). In play, though, the flamethrower is handled much more differently, it can be used indirectly, constantly sending flame down a hallway, both obscuring vision and denying enemy advance.
The shotgun will be able to handle an enemy or two in point blank combat faster, but the Flamethrower has staying power and utility abilities. Introduce a third party, though, machineguns, and the shotgun will be a much better candidtate in a head-on fight than the flamethrower (but in a situation that isn't a direct fight, the flame will be much more effective).
Unfortunately, WaW's shotguns just aren't that good compared to those in COD2 and COD4. The flamethrower works outside of just point-blank, straightforward combat, not to mention infinite ammo, all a big plus over the shotguns. Flamethrower is "better" than the shotgun.
-Not very good, both shots will almost certaintly not score a kill through most objects. You might get lucky in Hangar, but that's about it.

I would add juggernaut to the flamethrower, compensates for that tiny delay when firing.
