After the patch with a buffed 300 speed on the tracer dart, is it advantageous to use it with tanks? Tanks normally are not very hard to hit with rockets, however, is there a benefit to tracing them?
E.G. If a rocket is launched upwards at a traced target, will it deal more damage towards the tank since it lands on top of it?

The less you expose yourself to the enemy, the better.
The tank will take the damage from the top as damage to whichever side at a steep angle, so damage will be angle-dampened if it lands on top. You don't need to aim high, though. Shoot around corners with the RPG-7 and nail it in the side.
If you can hit the tank's blind spot directly, by all means take a direct shot. If it's tactical loitering from a great distance (like Atacama or Arica) or on the move, then that Dart is invaluable. The Dart will also indicate the enemy/vehicle on the radar for as long as it is active.
