I was playing backlot today, I swear that the chopper unloaded all 40 rounds through the wall to kill me. And I was tactical loitering there due to lag.  Could you explain how this happened? |

First, there is a window right where you place yourself, open to the area that the helicopter is placed at.
Second, if the helicopter spots you and begins shooting, it will attempt to shoot through some walls where you tried to move (or while it moves to a different angle) if no other targets are spotted. Since that small corner is awfully close to the window, there is a high chance that it did detect you.
Third, take note that while the killcam view of the helicopter is above even the rotating blades, the minigun detects and fires at enemies from where the minigun is, much lower. This makes judging exposure to the gun difficult in locations such as that one.
