The guns are not "magical laser cannons".
They've got the initial random cone of inaccuracy similar to BC2's F2000 (0.3). When standing still, the cone doesn't expand, but it doesn't get any better. Moving while shooting will expand the cone very slowly. Shots hitting their target beyond a short distance are up to luck.
As for the rest of the weapon data... The two opposing sides' weapons are literal statistical copies of one another, BF Heroes style (not a bad thing). For example the AK74u file is a few lines long and the lines all refer to the M4's data.
However... The AK47 and M16 are not the same. It's possible that'll change but right now the AK47 is slower and one-two bullets weaker than the M16, in fact there is no point in using it over the AK74u. It has one tiny benefit, but it's 0.25 cone of fire is not even worth mentioning.
And as for the actual game, I've yet to play a full round as it crashes when you do ANYTHING. Kill a guy, change classes, respawn, reload or switch weapons... do nothing.

Any luck keeping things from crashing? I'm dying to hear more about the stats for this game. I attempted to extract everything myself but the I couldn't find a reliable .fbrb extractor ( only a command based one that didn't always work ). Nor could I figure out how to cleanly view the stats files w/ Notepad++. Any tips?

It appears there was some kind of server side patch that has taken care of most crashes and I've played a round and a half before I was returned to my desktop. Either that or I was really really lucky.

Glad to hear man. None of my friends I play with ( 6 of us total ) have had any crashes but I hear there's a bunch from reading the MOH forums.
I know there's a lot of bugs in the game, but the more I play the less I notice them and instead I notice all the good things. I think it has a lot of potential to be a good solid shooter, even if it doesn't reinvent the wheel. It just needs a lot of polish in the coming months.

So I finally got another code, so I used it on PS3 (my PC is too bad to play most any games).
And wow, the freezing makes it unplayable. Thankfully there is a patch coming in the next "days"...
I'm more annoyed by the fact that none of my options save and I have to set them every time I turn it on. And the screen adjustments are off a huge ammount.

I'm enjoying it, I would buff the Bradley and all things that explode, as nooby as I'm sure everyone would say that is. Hard to pin the point on what else needs fixing... I like sniping I guess I put up two gameplays with commentary if anyone was wondering what exactly this game looks like with all the point-streaks included.

Offensive: 40 - Mortar Strike 100 - Rocket Strike 160 - Missile Attack 230 - Artillery Strike 300 - Strafing Run 380 - Airstrike 450 - Cruise Missile
Defensive: 40 - Intel 100 - Match Ammo 160 - Flak Vests 230 - FMJ Ammo 300 - Jammer 380 - Sabot Rounds 450 - Kevlar Vests
Also at 450, you're points gained double, but you do not get any more rewards.

Den, any chance we can see at least a mini-chart for this demo? Only... 10? guns to make it for.
M4/AKS-74u, SAW/PKM, M16, AK-47, MP7, Shotguns, Slug Shotguns, M14/Dragunov, M24/SV89, and Taraqi/M9.
An better explanation on the attachments would also be helpful since the ingame descriptions aren't too specific.

Buying this for $60 USD is a fool's errand. If you absolutely must, wait six months for it to fall to $40.
That said I'm still curious about how the damage model has been tweaked--you mean fewer bullets to kill? Has weapon handling changed?
