I was trying to find how to properly use the hellfire missiles, and near the end this tutorial showed me that the gunners indeed have an alt fire as well... They shoot tracer darts.
Does anything else have alt fires I'm not aware of? Perhaps tank gunners or something?

Wow, that vid's amazingly detailed. I know so much more about it now, and I've never even used it.
Den, you said that the Apache hellfire would only lock on to the secondary seat's tracer dart? Clearly in this video, it also traces normal darts. Has it changed since this video was made?

On consoles, you can shoot tracer darts from an attack helicopter's gunner seat as long as you have the "V ALT" spec. Just press the fire button and a tracer should be fired along with the chain gun (it recharges in about 2 bursts). I'm not sure about the other vehicles, though.

You are saying a man on the ground can trace a tank and the chopper can make it go boom now?
Is that for PC too?

That video was PC, so most likely.
