1) When a helicopter missile hits a target (e.g. a tank) directly, does it deal 100 pts of damage for the impact and then 60 pts of splash damage? Or only 100 pts?
2) Simple calculations show that a helicopter should be able to take down a tank in one pass (even if you assume that it's only 100 pts impact damage and not 100 pts + 60 pts)- 100x8x2 = 1600 pts of damage; tanks have 1250 health. Any experienced pilot can tell you, however, that this isn't the case; a tank simply cannot be taken down in one barrage of missiles. Obviously there's a multiplier involved. Is this multiplier the same multiplier used for infantry-fired rockets (e.g. Carl Gustav, RPG, AT4)? Or is it different for helicopters?
3) Why does landing a UAV or helicopter on top of another helicopter cause the latter to explode and commit suicide? Merely curious.
4) Why don't you have a moustache?
EDIT: and/or a beard.

1) 90 damage in total. 60 damage or less from the blast.
2) Nope.
3) Collision and impact variables being silly.
4) I do.
EDIT: and/or do.

Erm, could you clarify on #2? Were you saying that the multiplier is not the same for infantry-fired rockets? Were you saying that no, it isn't different for helicopters? Were you saying that there isn't a multiplier at all? And if there is a multiplier, do you know it's exact value?
Also, I humbly request a picture of said beard and/or moustache in MS Paint form, if that could so be arranged.

2) Nope, they do not use the same materials and therefore do not have the same damage modifiers. The rocket launchers use MissileGrenade (0.8x against tanks) for the impact and RPG_Explosion (0x against tanks) for the blast. Helicopter rockets use Helo_rocket (0.3x) and MortarStrike_Explosion (1x versus tanks). Here's what my "walking" license photo looks like (just got a new one this morning).

Ah, okay. So the direct missile will only do 30 points of damage, but the resulting explosion will deal up to 60- so hitting right beside a tank really isn't that big of a deal. That's strange. I thought they'd reward you with more damage for a direct hit. I think 30 for hitting next to it (e.g. MortarStrike_Explosion = 0.5x) and 60 for hitting it directly (Helo_rocket = 0.6x) would make more sense and encourage more accurate missile vollys. Oh well.
Impressive facial hair.
EDIT: one more question. Are the helicopter missile's damage also affected by what portion of the tank they hit (e.g. back and side = 2x if they're shot perpindicular)? Or is that only infantry rockets again?
