I'm wondering what the exact point of damage multipliers for vehicles, m-com stations, etc even exist.
I understand the point of headshot vs bodyshot multipliers, but past that I don't understand why they couldn't give tanks and helicopters more or less health to match up with the damage explosives give them with the multipliers.
Is it just because the developers are lazy or is there some reason I just am not grasping at the moment. It seems like it would be in the best interest of the players to keep it simple.

Nevermind, I answered my own question, so C4 can do more damage against tanks than AT mines do (not that this is the case) but both are as effective against the m-coms.
Don't know why this didn't occur to me earlier, lol...

Just to add on; the harder it is to do something is directly proportional to how much damage it does, generally. Sure, you can shoot a guy in the torso, but if you can hit his head it does more damage. Sure, you can pop off rockets at a tank, but if you can get close and introduce him to Mr. C4 it does more damage.
