Iron and Red Dot are the same (or so close that the difference is almost non-existent) in almost every case.

So ACOG has no ADS advantage in BC2?

Den, what about the ACOG, you only mentioned the red dot.
And you said "almost every case", which ones have the most significant difference? I assume the largest discrepancy might be on the MG36.

On the sniper rifles, the 4X Scope has a slightly faster transition time and doesn't have the fade from black effect. The Red Dot on a sniper is then slightly faster than that. The M95 has a much longer transition time than the other rifles and it gains a big benefit in speed with the ACOG or Dot (quarter of a second compared to the others getting only 0.05 of a second).
For LMGs, the transition time is a difference of 0.05 seconds in favor of the Red Dot. The irons and red dot for the other classes (rifle and SMG) have the same zoom time.
