im need to get another controller. I was thinking of getting a rapid fire one. I know the obvious pros but are there any cons? i heard in waw that it would boot you from the game if you fired too fast.
boarder line cheating? maybe. but i also heard that they are not as good as people think they are.

yeah but generally when i see people using a rapid fire controllers, they dont seem any better than someone using a normal weapon. I think alot of people have them too.

so what your saying.... is that there are no disadvantages? I dont think you can get banned if you use them? at least ive never heard of anybody getting the can
i know that some might think its a bit shady but they dont cost anymore than stock controllers.

i did research this morning. one big disadvantage is the controls are funky, i read alot of them are not as sensitive as real xbox controllers.
anywho, won a real wireless one on ebay for $17, cant complain.

In WAW I used to get capped when using my Magnum, the RoF cap is terrible, it's like 1 shot every second and makes your gun unusable, OK that's the desired effect for modders but I didn't like it lol.

Treyarch has said they will be implementing measures to thwart controller mods. Either way, the cons are you should feel shitty about using a modded controller, something about a conscience.

It's not hard to shoot fast. And it makes people less likely to think ill of you when you do it legitimately instead of letting a program do it for you.

People do realise that the gun will fire even if they only press the trigger a little, right? So how does everyone need a rapid fire pad instead of saving cash for the pub and tapping the button less?

Buy an XIM, use a mouse & keyboard. Screw joysticks. They're lame. Plus, anything a CONTROLLER can macro. I can macro better.  I know. The controller guys ripped me off when I was the first one to circumvent the FIRST lock-out patch for W@W LoL! |

There's rapid fire controllers that are just as cheap as new controllers. I say go for it. My guess is semi auto anything is firecapped around 600rpms, which just makes it one of the power ARs with more recoil. It's not a huge game winning factor, the honor goes to hosting.

Having the lockout code means I lost a nice streak the other night because I pressed the buttons too fast or something. Really fun to be charging ahead and suddenly be unable to control your player.
