I've been getting into using AT-mines extensively and keep coming across the "random" OHK vs. tanks.
After some testing using a fresh tank on an empty server, the results are: 1 mine will not kill a tank when it rolls directly over a mine. 1 mine will kill a tank when it rolls past the mine (proximity detonation).
I am wondering if this testing can be confirmed by anyone else. I am also wondering if this is a bug as it seems to me that a proximity detonation is being given the 2x multiplier that is supposed to be given to projectiles.
Lastly, just FYI, the same results were obtains with C4 testing.

The tank was previously damaged probably.
Just set traps of 2 mines near each other to get kills for sure.

"after some testing" means a fresh tank on an empty server was used.

This has been a topic previously. There is a sweet spot (a very inconsistent spot) underneath a tank that will multiply damage to a great amount, even though I can't find any such weak point or multiplier in the data.
C4 and Mines can sometimes take out a tank at full health instead of doing just 875~ damage when the explosive is... somewhere under the thing. Since there is no way to predict exactly how an enemy tank will approach, you should always go with two instead of banking on a one-blast kill.
