Bipods?

Where did they go? I thought they were pretty cool and it looks like they patched it out. as far as i know now the only way to use one is to find a window somewhere to set it up... you cant just go prone anymore.Why did they do this?
side note: this cool new anti cheat measures have been penalizing me for having an awesome trigger finger. its bs. when it happened to me it only allowed me to fire pistol shots every other second....

yeah they stopped it because they couldn't be bothered to just fix the infinite ammo glitch, so they just botched the whole prone bipod thing.

They could fix the unlimited ammo thing, it's just that people were using Bipods + Prone to get beneath the maps, and *THAT* is what they couldn't/wouldn't fix. I always felt like infinite ammo was a fair reward for losing all ability to move or even rotate your sights more than ~120 degrees. It at least gave the Bipod *SOME* use. Without the infinite ammo, it's nothing more than the most useless attachment ever. |

oh so that was what it was? its a shame. I enjoyed using the bipod... even if it generally got me killed.
But i guess if it keeps people from getting under the map (strait B.S btw) then i suppose it is an ok trade.

Not to forget the fact that whenever my friend and I joined an American lobby, we would do this glitch until we had deployed 50 bipods, the match would then end because of an error. I had my fun. I would give you a quote from the release they made but I can't find it.
