I have a DPI Switching mouse, but going between the vehicles and infantry is still a pain in the butt! I tried some of the config tweaks posted on other forums, but they broke things horribly so I reverted back.
Does anyone know of a way to tweak the controls so that vehicles have some semblance of rotation speed so I'm not sliding my mouse off my desk or picking my mouse up 15 times to rotate 90 degrees?

The only info on it I've seen is at this thread here.I like the default speeds myself though, so I haven't tried fiddling with it.

I've had the same problem. The only solution I can find is to use a lower DPI and then switch it up when you enter a vehicle. Also, every vehicle has a max rotation speed. Something I've found with the tank is that it doesn't turn any faster at 3500 DPI than at 1800 DPI, it just accelerates to it's "max rotation speed" faster. If you can figure out how fast to move your hand to match the max rotation speed, you can turn the turret a full 120 degrees in a decent amount of space - it's just that you're moving it slower because of the max speed that the turret will turn. Even if you move your hand faster, you're just wasting mousepad space because the turret won't turn any faster.
Not really a solution, but more information on what's happening and kinda how to counteract it.

That's actually really helpful Aranshada, thank you; I knew of the max rotation speed thing but I hadn't thought about all the wasted movement beyond that speed, and how going slower might actually let me move the turret in a smaller stroke.
