Not sure if you have covered this before Den, but can you list the time it takes for each weapon to transition from your secondary slot to your active slot? Meaning, the time it takes to bring that weapon out AND have the ability to fire it.
Of course pistols will be the fastest, and I have noticed the shotguns are extremely quick to pull out as well.

These are the numbers when switching to and from weapons. Combine the drop time of the weapon you are holding and the raise time of the weapon you are bringing out. The indicator of being able to fire is when the crosshair reappears. Weapon - Raise/ Drop
M16 - 0.35 / 0.25 AK47 - 0.95 / 0.60 M4 - 0.75 / 0.45 G3 - 0.85 / 0.60 G36c - 0.40 / 0.25 M14 - 0.80 / 0.70 MP44 - 0.95 / 0.60
MP5 - 0.66 / 0.25 AK74u - 0.95 / 0.60 Uzi - 0.80 / 0.42 Skorpion- 0.80 / 0.42 P90 - 0.76 / 0.80
M40A3 - 0.90 / 0.66 M21 - 0.80 / 0.70 Dragunov- 1.15 / 0.85 R700 - 0.90 / 0.66 Barrett - 1.00 / 0.70
SAW - 0.66 / 0.25 RPD - 1.25 / 0.60 M60 - 1.25 / 0.60
W1200 - 0.625/ 0.33 M1014 - 0.75 / 0.43
Beretta - 0.55 / 0.45 USP - 0.55 / 0.45 1911 - 0.55 / 0.45 Eagle - 0.55 / 0.45 There is also quickDropTime and quickRaiseTime (switching to a grenade or inventory item and back). Most of the numbers for "quickRaise" are close to (usually less than) the ordinary RaiseTime, while "quickDrop" is often around two thirds or half the amount for ordinary dropTime.

I expect that's because IW meganerfed the AK74 and it's STILL a good gun.
Dragunov is dumb because who would use that over the Barrett or R700 which do everything the Drag does and more (moreso the Barrett due to semi-auto vs bolt)
Also this is really dumb. It takes nearly half the time to drop your M16 and pull out a MP5 than it does to drop your AK47 and pull out a AK74.

You're joking, right? The Dragunov is far and away the best sniper to use without Stopping Power in terms of 1 shot kill probability and rate of fire. The R700 doesn't even come close, and the Barrett's recoil prevents it from being the Dragunov's equal. And obviously the Dragunov with Stopping Power sucks. In that case the M21 would destroy it with the same OSK probability (except on Juggies) and less recoil.

No tbh... The Barrett does have significant recoil but it's predictable, the Drag however flies all over the place randomly.
I won't lie, I do use the Dragunov as the sniper when I don't use SP because on the odd occasion it doesn't bounce up on 'roids it's decent. It's also quieter and feels more authentic than the Barrett super-blaster-cannon-of-death.

When I use the Drag I usually get pretty low recoil, and I don't think I've ever seen the Drag have more recoil than the .50.

It's also quieter and feels more authentic than the Barrett super-blaster-cannon-of-death. Who cares how predictable the recoil is? I'm much more concerned with how quickly the gun returns to center so I can fire off a second accurate shot. With the Drag, best case scenario is that it doesn't recoil at all and you can fire again immediately. Worst case scenario... it still re-centers faster than the .50 cal, meaning it still has a faster acccurate RoF. In terms of RoAF (Rate of Accurate Fire), the M21 > Dragunov >>> Barret > M40 >>> R700. Combine the fact that the Dragunov shares the best killzones of any sniper sans SP and I always run a Dragunov kit as my "All You'll Ever Need From A Sniper" class. It's just as good in HC as it is in SC, and it leaves me 4 extra class slots to play around with. Dragunov is also my ACOG'd sniper of choice, the best sniper to pair with Overkill or UAV Jammer, the best counter-sniper weapon on the planet (Drag + Jugg + Last Stand essentially makes you a 3-shot kill while retaining your own 1-shot kill capabilities- it especially pwns M40 snipers HAAAAAAARD), and in my opinion, the best-looking sniper this side of the R700 (which is otherwise terrible). What's crazy to me is that pistols are supposedly only designed to give you a quick switch when you run out of ammo on your primary... but it'd be significantly faster to run an MP5 as your primary and an M16 as your secondary. Ouch.
