Usually, when i play S&D, I dont use claymores becoz I tend to think that the majority of the other team are using bombsquad.
I dont know about you guys, but Bombsquad is a nessecity. I barely get any kills with claymores anyway. What do you guys think?
:D

Bombsquad is a necessity if you lack perception. Claymores are incredibly easy to spot. You should try getting good with C4. It takes a fair amount of skill, but it absolutely destroys. Plant it under an objective, plant the bomb, and hide in a random spot where nobody looks. When you hear the sound, BOOM! Plus you can use it like a heavier grenade. It's great for killing enemies who are in cover above you, and you can throw it faster than you can cook a nade. You can also lob it over walls for CQC explosive combat, where a grenade would go too far. You can also set a temporary trap. What I mean by that is, let's say that you get into a firefight, and neither you nor the enemy dies. You retreat. Then you can just throw C4 at a spot he will probably walk through and blow it up when he gets there. I LOVE C4!!!!

Claymores are easy to spot, mainly because everyone puts them in obvious places. I don't use bomb squad in call of duty 4. Claymores aren't as hidden as betties.
Betties are a little harder to spot, but with practice you will be able to see the obvious ones. Although, the can be put in places that make them completely invisible w/out bomb squad. In cod5 i use bomb squad.

I don't care so much about slang and typing quickly, it's more about the sentence structure and lack of punctuation. Just to make it easier for others to read. FYI I'm 16.

i prefer to use claymores or bouncing betty's when playing SnD because if i am defending i plant them around the bomb. although if i am attacking or being aggresive i use bomb squad

In WaW I use a tompson with doublemag and flack jacket and betty's. You won't die by a nade when you guard the bomb in a corner of a room, you won't die when you walk into a betty when attacking. and you can plant a betty when you defend or attack (and placed the bomb) The only problem is that you won't be as good in shooting, but in S&D there is not often a face to face fire fight where that one shot is really going to make a difference IMO.

Usually, when i play S&D, I dont use claymores becoz I tend to think that the majority of the other team are using bombsquad. I dont know about you guys, but Bombsquad is a nessecity. I barely get any kills with claymores anyway. What do you guys think? :D I think you should vary up your claymore planting. Most people who don't get claymored aren't avoiding them because they have bomb squad, they're avoiding them because everyone plants in the same places, so they just avoid those places. I still get plenty of kills with my claymores, but I'm very against-the-grain with my plant sites. For instance, if I know that everyone plants at location X, I'll leave X unplanted and instead plant a claymore at whatever location someone would run past if they were trying to AVOID a claymore planted at X. If you know that people will be watching the left edge of their screen and moving quickly, you can plant in a slightly exposed location on the right and trust that they won't be paying enough attention to spot it. Sometimes instead of planting my claymores right away, I'll sneak into enemy territory and plant them halfway through the match. You'd be surprised at how many kills you get in random locations nowhere near anything as people just get careless running through an area they're sure is safe. Also, won't help you in S&D, but I'm a huge fan of planting one claymore and saving your second one. When your first goes off, go back and plant the second EXACTLY where you planted the first. 80% of the time I wind up killing the exact same guy with the exact same claymore as he comes seeking revenge, convinced that he's already cleared out my defenses at that point. You can use the whole revenge mindset to your advantage in S&D, too. If you plant a claymore at a location, then next round the enemy will be expecting another claymore there, so plant your next claymore closer to them. They'll run back, expecting a claymore where you had one last time, and die on the path there because they aren't paying enough attention.
