I saw this on the 360 gamefaqs forum in a post: "for some reason if you put a suppressor on the Gewehr 43 it always uses the same reload animation as if you ran out the mag, but it doesn't actually take any longer unless you do unload the mag." Any truth to this Den? I'm too lazy to check myself. You are my bro, bro.

Your right.
G43 Dot sight: If the clip is not empty then it just changes the clip, but if it is empty then it does this little dump thing. Takes longer if your clip is empty.
G43 Suppressed: Weather the clip is empty or not it does the same animation, the ammo dump, then new clip. I did notice though that even though it is the same animation it still takes longer to reload if your clip is empty.

Not really a discrepancy, nothing is affected statistically.
The gewehr_43_silenced_mp uses "viewmodel_g43_noscope_reload" for both reloading and empty reloading. The rest properly use "viewmodel_g43_noscope_partial_reload".
The time at which reloading takes place is still the same three and four seconds. The "empty" reload for a partial on the silenced G43 just plays faster.
