Question...
What does double tap do to accuracy?
What about if you add steady aim?
Does double tap have a minimal effect on accuracy of certain guns?

I think the only thing that Double tap does is increase RoF by 1.33. What makes it less accurate is the recoil will make the cone of fire larger more of the time because the gun will not be able to return to "resting position." Steady aim will help. I'm pretty sure guns with less recoil will have less of this accuracy disimprovement. Picture instead of chart because some people need to see it to believe it. (all done with AK-47 no steady aim) Black circle is me pulling the trigger single shot and letting the gun "rest" red is using stopping power on full auto blue is using double tap on full auto PS sorry for the quality the only camera i had was my iPhone and i think the picture is too big...

When aiming down the sights, Steady Aim does absolutely nothing.

dt is really just for spraying with a accurate weapon, 249, grip, double tap, steady aim = bullet machine

dt is really just for spraying with a accurate weapon, 249, grip, double tap, steady aim = bullet machine IMO, DT's only use is in Hardcore. In Softcore, SP will beat it in every situation (and do so with less ammo consumption and less recoil). In hardcore, DT will greatly increase the killspeed of guns like the M4 or P90, which are two-shot kills, and will turn 1-shot kill guns like the M249 and the AK47 into real leadmonsters.

For me Double Tap's only use is with the W1200. It may be better to put stopping power one it for more one shot kills, but it's actually pretty easy to miss with a shotgun with a grip, especially when people move around so damn much. Double Tap let's me recover from misses faster and potentially survive longer. Also, I want to know if Double Tap affects the M1014 in anyway. It kinda seems like it would, because it's rate of fire is limited to 300 RPM, but it's hard to tell if there is a difference because there's no obvious visual cue as to how fast you are shooting like with the pump shotgun.

It does work on the M1014. Also, IDK if the grip is worth it. If there is a setup to use it on it would be the W1200 with DT, but even so...

I rarely use Grenades and pretty much only use smokes as my special grenade. Do you think I should use that trusty red dot sight on a gun that becomes less accurate while aiming? I'll go with the grip.

I suppose DT makes sense on the 1200, but I never got why people wouldn't just use the M1014, instead. W1200 + Double Tap still fires slower than the M1014. If you're worried about the damage difference, M1014+SP deals more damage *AND* fires faster than W1200+DT. If you're getting 1-shot kills with either, then the M1014+SoH can fire AND RELOAD THE SHELL about as quickly as the W1200 can fire. It does work on the M1014. Also, IDK if the grip is worth it. I'll go with the grip. Claymores! Or, barring that, Bomb Squad or Bando. Or better yet, learn to actually use your specials and use 3x special (which is pretty much MADE for the shotty- it lets you disorient enemies who are too far for you to shoot, and it lets you slow down a room full of foes so you can clear them out before they react).

I also don't like the fact that it's an automatic shotgun. In a multiplayer game it just feels cheap and dishonorable to just look at someone and shoot as many times as possible to kill them. It feels kinda like the P90 of the shotguns. With the W1200 I have to time shots well and missing has more consequences. I like doing well with weapons that are harder to use. At least when it comes to when I'm using shotguns, which are hard to use anyway. Worth what? I barely even find any 1st perk useful. I do use Bomb Squad and Bandolier occasionally, but I find they aren't really needed for when I use shotguns. I'd rather use the grip, even if it's not all that useful, it just looks way better than a bare shotgun. I'm used to it by now. And what do you mean,"learn to use specials,"? I said I use smoke grenades for cover when moving across the map. Stuns and flashes may do the same job, but only if I know where the enemy is. Smoke is a bit more reliable cover for snipers and campers. And I always hate getting stunned to be killed because it doesn't give me a fair chance to defend myself. I wouldn't want to do that to the people I'm killing. Where's the fun in that?
