Just a quick check - I've heard remarks that the AN94 and M16 are just burst-fire versions of the AEK, but the AN94's stats on the main site has variable damage while the other two have flat damage.
Are the stats out of date for the latest patch or is the damage actually higher on the Abakan than other rifles?

The Abakan has slightly higher damage at close range, but the low ROF makes it suck at that range, so it really just balances it back to the M16 and AEK again.

They're sniping weapons, honestly, take a F2000 with MMN and hip-fire to hell.

abakan and m16 are longer range AR's. Low recoil, decent damage abakan tends to get less recoil (slightly) but is slower (speed bumps, unlike m16 burst), balanced by having higher damage at close range.
trivia : m16 + magnum = 1 burst to the head to kill for non-armor using enemies technically faster than abakan, where it's 2-burst requires an extra bullet (therefore waiting for a little longer because of speed limit) these are subtle differences, nearly parrellel performance at close range. m16 might do better at mid-long while abkn very long distances
