Aiming with a mouse and keyboards is way easier. Idle sway pretty much ceases to exist (M4 and M21 FTW) and recoil is a bit easier to control. Maneuvering, on the other hand, is a bit clunkier. Also, I noticed that when not sprinting you move a bit slower than on 360 (definitely), and you are slowed down more by moving backwards and sideways (might have been in my head). Also, you climb ladders slower (definitely definitely, note the repetition). The M16 isn't quite as good due to the lack of aim assist, but it's still one of the better guns.
But again, I cannot stress enough how awesome the M4 is on PC compared to 360. I really want to unlock the P90 for comparison.

I played it at a LAN party, so I didn't actually buy it. But if you are looking for prices... tinyurl.com/lnwzc7

You should try the AK-47. Its pretty much on par with M4 in terms of overall combat effectiveness and its definately better at short-medium range.

I use a suppressor at all times, so the slight short range advantage would be offset by the medium and long range disadvantages.

Do you have much of a history with PC FPS games? With time, you move like a stinkin' acrobat. That's pretty much what Quake 1 was: acrobatic shootering. Oh, and if you want to feel like you are running faster, type /cg_fov 65 into the console.

I agree, and dragshotting/swingshotting is much easier with a mouse.
The movement seems the same to me, but i do know that it is impossible to walk slowly on pc.
