Hey Den,
Just a few questions regarding the flamethrower in "Night of the Undead" zombie mode:
1. If I'm not mistaken, the initial puff from the M2 deals 30 damage to the zombie, does the damage multiply over the burning duration?
2. After observing flames fading from some of the zombies (lucky them), I wonder how long does the inferno last?
3. What's the movement speed of the M2?
Well, I think that's all the questions I can think of for now...
You are my bro, bro.

1. My original hypothesis was correct - the Zombie Flamethrower delivers damage based on percentage. The stream is also cosmetic; damage and the burning effect come from the "Drips" that follow the stream (the MP flamethrower has no burn and Drips vanish much sooner). Here, I'm at Round 41 in "Nazi_Zombie_Subway", zombies almost at 20,000 health. With Debug Mode, I can test to get the damage done to each zombie both by the Drips and by the burn damage. At Round 1, the flame Drips still delivered 30 damage and the burn effect did less than 100 damage. Burn damage takes place approximately every two seconds. -From Round 1 to 9, a single burn eliminated a Zombie with help from a Drip hit or two. -From 10 to the mid 30s, two burns were needed, four seconds -From 40 to the 60s, the majority of kills needed three burns, six seconds. -After 60, I needed six seconds with the occassional eight. The game basically uses a roll of the dice. Damage from each burn effect ranged from just under 50% of the Zombie's maximum health to over 75%. By the 30s, they were burning for more than ten thousand damage every two seconds. The only thing that could rival it in damage is the 357 or Sniper Rifles. ----- 2. I stopped by Round 70, not 100% sure yet. The burn effect might not deliver more than five hits and sometimes may deal out three minimum - it has a duration floating between of five to ten seconds. I'd seen several survive three burns and the effect wore off after that. It is tough getting one zombie left in the round without harming him to get a clear result. ----- 3. For Solo and Co-Op, the Flamethrower has a MoveSpeed of 0.8. For Multiplayer, the Flamethrower moves at 1.

With the Mod Tools, PC guys can make their own maps. Subway was the first. There are already, presumably, more than a dozen Nazi Zombie maps by this point (of course, most of them suck, rushed and empty). www.cod5zombies.com/

Thx Den. Btw, does the M2 behave the same way (with different damage) in the singleplayer campaign?

Unlike zombies, the Nippon have static health health and the Campaign Flamethrower delivers 1000 damage on hit.
They die instantly, playing an "oh no I'm on fire" animation.

I have a question with flamethrower.
Why does it sometimes just put the symbol for the flamethrower when you crispy fry someone, and sometimes if you get killed while in the process of crispy frying or if you do a weird one hit crispy fry (lol), does it put the symbol of the skull... Den I think it kill in one hit sometimes, like maybe there is a headshot?? or multiplied dmg when u die?? it's weird

I think perhaps the scull symbol comes from death by burning, while the flamethrower symbol comes from death by direct impact.
Otherwise -- The flamethrower is the only weapon I know of that can kill an enemy both before and after he kills you when he use a normal weapon.
That is noteworthy:
I've gotten multiple flamethrower kills registered before the opponent killed me with a sub-machine gun.
Seriously:
The kill list looks like this: ADW1983 [Flamethrower] RandomGuy Randomguy[MP40]ADW1983
I really wonder what happens if you get one of those discrepencies when there's only two people left in search and destroy -- or when both teams have 740 points in team deathmatch.
I can't imagine a normal weapon NOT killing when the shots already registered.

Let's go over this again. Only the Zombie Flamethrower delivers burn over time damage. The direct damage delivered by the flamethrower come from the slow-moving Drip projectiles that follow the stream and drop off near the end. The Flamethrower icon shows up when the enemy is killed. The Skull icon shows when the drips hit the enemy after he kills the thrower.

For some reason the game glitched during S&D on Roundhouse when I was the last one on our team with a Bouncing Betty and we both got 2 points added to both of our scores. We won that game 5-3 because of it.

Not sure of spelling, but I think it means I live in Berlin Actually, a "Berliner" is the name given to a special type of jelly donut made in Berlin. So basically you said: "I am a jelly donut." I'm not actually German but I'm taking classes, and that's one of the completely random things my teacher taught us lol. Thanks for that picture Den, I was kind of confused as to what you meant by "drip."
