I recently picked up BC2 + Vietnam during the Steam sale, and I soon learned about negative mouse acceleration. I came across a fix and applied it, but now my vehicle sensitivity is nonexistent. I can't look around in any vehicle, which as you might guess, is a tad annoying. The "fix" I applied was detailed here: www.tinyurl.com/bc2mousefixIt involves making changes to the gamesettings.ini and the input files. I'm sure I just accidentally changed a value I shouldn't have or something like that. Here's the files with the changed in place: Gamesettings.ini: pastebin.com/Y3rpqBhSAir.dbx: pastebin.com/34itu38YLand.dbx: pastebin.com/QSRJ0TSrAny help is vastly appreciated. Thanks.

I tried the exact same fix when I first got BC2, for the same reasons. It doesn't work. None of them do.
You'll have to delete your .ini and let it patch a default one back, and either get a mouse with on-the-fly adjustable speed settings or... Deal with it unfortunately.
Something to note is that the vehicles in the game have a "max" speed that they will rotate, and moving the mouse beyond that won't do anything. So the best thing is to learn that speed, and then (in my case) click the mouse speed up a notch or two so that you can move the mouse without dragging it all over your desk. It's basically one of those cases where moving it slower will actually move the turret just as fast.
Sorry if that's not making much sense, but you'll get the hang of it in time. One other thing to note is that no one else is playing with a faster turret either, so it's not like you're at a competitive disadvantage; You just have to adapt to it tactically and keep your targets in front of you and have (I know, this never happens, stupid teammates, blah blah) infantry to cover your flanks. Even if the infantry isn't really "on the ball" with you they'll still keep doo-doo off your back.

That did it, Fazz! Thanks a ton. I've left so many tanks behind because I simply couldn't use them. No more.
