Hey Den, You are my bro, bro.
I was reading through the W@W page when I noticed that bouncing betties is claimed to only have a 150 degree triggering radius, now out of all my time playing I have never met a bouncing betty where I could just walk up right next to it without it blowing up in my face. So how does it have a 150 degree triggering radius?

The difference in range between the trigger range and the kill range is very small.
Considering you'd have to be moving towards it to set it off, the player will almost always step into the deadly radius by the time the thing has bounced and exploded.
Also, inches, not "degrees".

I've triggered lots of betties deliberately at safe distance, it's not hard, just make sure you are moving across it then away and not towards it.
