Hey Bros,
If you don't know already know, COD elite recently enabled clan functionality for the Xbox 360.
COD Elite clans, like players, level up as they complete challenges, compete in competitions, and add premium elite members to their roster.
I am a part of a COD Elite clan that is looking for premium elite members to join our roster to help us level up our clan and help us win competitions. Premium membership is required.
The benefits of being in a COD elite clan are as follows: 1. Earn double XP to help you level up 2. Earn in game titles, emblems, and gold clan tag 3. Win badges and prizes 4. I dunnoz, but 3 reasons didn't seem like enough.
Our clan is a very successful clan. Our members have collectively won the following from elite competitions: Jeep Wrangler 50" HDTV Multiple Apple Ipads Multiple Apple Ipods Multiple various gift cards Multiple COD Elite Poker Sets Dozens of COD Elite Hoodies Dozens of COD Elite Shirts Dozens of COD Elite Water Bottles Dozens of COD Elite Wall Clings
We plan on continuing to win all the competitions we enter.
If you would like to join we are currently accepting all premium elite members who have not yet joined a clan (so your founders XP is added to our clan).
Please post your gamertag here if you would like an invite or if you have any questions.
Thanks, oTradeMark

Whats the difference between normal cod elite and premium, or am I missing something here? I currently don't have either.
Oh and if connection quality is an issue. 10mb dl, 8mb up, 30~ ms ping, and I'm US midwest; incase its a Euro clan, since I get red barred playing with them.

Premium elite means you either purchased a hardened edition MW3 which came with a premium elite code or you paid the $50 for a year of elite. Premium elite also gives you access to download all DLC for MW3 for free... so if you plan on purchasing DLC in the future you are basically buying all the map packs in advance for a slight discount (kind of like gears of war season pass) Free elite is basically just a stat service... you can join clans with free elite but you don't help the clan level up and you can't compete in competitions. In regards to location I'm US Midwest as well.. but that doesn't really matter. You see clans in elite are not the same as your typical GB or MLG clans... The way elite clans work is you have a roster, then anytime those players complete challenges or compete in events your players earn experience for your clan and level your clan up. So basically, when it comes time to compete in the clan competitions we will separate into groups depending on your location and try to score as many points for whatever the competition is, then our clans scores are collectively added together and the clan with the highest score wins. In other words, if you have a premium elite membership you can join. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a tryout or anything... basically if you are a premium member and help us level up through challenges and competitions then you are in. Here is more info on elite premium: www.callofduty.com/elite/go-premium

I've been debating with myself whether or not I should purchase the Premium service. My biggest problem with COD is that most of the decent people that I play with are no longer interested in COD and haven't purchased MW3. So the biggest thing I'm looking for is a bunch of above average people to play with on a consistent basis.
I am interested in joining, but before I purchase the Premium service to apply, I would like to talk about any clan criteria that might be important to know.
Send me a PM if you can regarding any requirements regarding scheduling and activeness and just any necessary benchmarks you have in your clan.

Hey pirate, I can discuss requirements here.
Basically the only requirements are having a premium elite membership and participating in challenges and competitions with the clan.
I'm not the leader so I don't know if there is a specific amount of challenges or competitions you need to participate in to stay active but I'm sure as long as you are helping the clan level up and win then you will have a spot on the roster.
Clans can have up to 100 members so I don't think we need to worry about who to keep in the clan for a long time.
I can't speak for new members but the current roster are all very active cod players who have an extensive history playing COD games, so I'm sure there will always be plenty of members to find a game with.

Is this exclusive for 360 players? I would assume that Elite keeps track of all players from both Live and PSN, but I'm not sure. If so, willing to give it a go. Need somewhere to put my 500 free XP.

It's not exclusive but im 90% sure that the Xbox Live & PSN portions of elite are 2 separate platforms so we can't send PSN users an invite to our clan. Send me your PSN anyways and I can see if we can send you an invite though.

If I created a clan already, can I actually join a second clan? unfortunately no, you can only be in 1 clan pirate & big spuh, I sent a message to our clan leader, you should receive invites via your elite summary shortly. If you can't accept them it means elite is being stupid, which it is half the time. Just keep trying

gamer tag Sephlock. Not to be mean, but this IS the internet and all, so... It occurred to me that you could easily just have us join and then give us the boot, harvesting our sweet, sweet XP bonus while leaving us random players high and dry. You wouldn't do that, would you? WOULD YOU? .

You wouldn't do that, would you? WOULD YOU? . Well Trademark is one of the bro-est of bros, so that makes me more comfortable to say it's legit. While you may not be a forefront member, I doubt they'd leave you high and dry. But an important question that no-one has seemed to ask: What's the clan's name and ELITE page?

Hey guys, I am not the clan leader of our clan... so I apologize if your invites did not arrive.
Here is an update on what is happening with our clan. We sent out a massive amount of invites of players who claimed to be premium founders... While some of them were, most of them were not. In fact a lot of players were not even premium members (again I wasn't clan leader or I would have checked before sending invites)
Long story short, the clan leader got upset and erased all pending invites. He is also not responding to my emails/messages for new invites.
So in the meantime this is what I have done to fix things. First off, I purchased a new 12 month gold membership and created a new gamertag: EliteTradeMark. Next, I created a new Elite clan, "Elite Win". I am currently in the process of sending out invites to all players who showed interest in my original posts.
My hope is that this new clan will do two things: 1. Allow interested players to earn double XP through leveling up the clan. 2. Allow you to prove yourselves enough to receive an invite to the other clan
Because I am the leader of this clan this is what I will guarantee: 1. If you are a premium founder and donate your 500 XP bonus to the clan you are guaranteed a spot in the clan up until our clan reaches maximum member limit (100 members) or until clan level 30 (which will have earned you 12 hours of double XP) 2. If you actively participate in challenges and competitions and are a premium member of elite, you will always be guaranteed a spot in the clan. I do not know how the challenges/competitions work completely yet since they haven't been activated on elite yet, but when they do I will let you know what I consider "active" participation.
And to answer your question Seph, the only thing I can say is that I am an active member of the COD community and I have a pretty positive reputation as well as a history of winning a variety of different competitions. That, along with my guarantee above is all I can tell you to assure you that I won't do what you have said.

Wasnt looking to buy cod elite but this might sway me. How are the prizes given out amongst the .clan? Color me interested From the elite website: WHAT CAN I WIN IN CLAN OPERATIONS? Clan operations award clans that finish in the bronze tier or better. Bronze may change from op to op, but generally if your clan finishes in the upper half of an operation, it will be rewarded. These rewards include a badge that is displayed in your clan’s showcase and clan clan XP. If your clan wins a champion badge, the players that finished in the top six of your clan for that operation will receive real prizes. Remember that only your clan receives a badge for performing well in operations. Your clan showcase is designed to let other users know how legit your clan is by promoting your accomplishments together. Well Trademark is one of the bro-est of bros, so that makes me more comfortable to say it's legit. While you may not be a forefront member, I doubt they'd leave you high and dry. But an important question that no-one has seemed to ask: What's the clan's name and ELITE page? The 2 elite clan pages: Elite Win: elite.callofduty.com/connect/clan/view/310602The New Breed: elite.callofduty.com/connect/clan/view/172920
