I have just prestiged for the first time over the weekend, so I had a look at my gun performance from within elite.
This is not very scientific and I only play casually and on my own. (I have rounded the exact k/d ratios to the nearest 0.5) My overall k/d is 1.28, and generally play FFA and Mercenary.
M4A1 1.4 T95 1.4 MK14 1.35 G36C 1.25 ACR 1.1 SCAR 1.05 FAD 1.05 UMP 1.00 Rest < 1.00 (Shotties and Snipers)
I was quite supprise with my ACR and M4A1 performance, the M4A1 high ROF must have been a factor for this being my best performing gun. The Type and MK14 always seem to work well for me too.
I would be interested in seeing other bro's weapon performances as a comparison.
You are my bro bro!

Only for weapons over 50 kills...
Type 95 - 1.7 MP9 - 1.7 G36C - 1.6 P90 - 1.6 SCAR-L - 1.6 M4A1 - 1.5 FMG9 - 1.5 ACR - 1.5 MP7 - 1.5 UMP - 1.3
Nothing else with more than 50 kills. My K/D hovers around 1.7, all I do is rush with MP7, haven't used anything else this prestige. (~2000 kills on 2nd prestige).

Oh, wow, this is weird (top 10 or so, only counting guns w/ >200 kills):
1. RSASS 1.65 2. G36C 1.63 3. Striker 1.60 4. PP90M1 1.51 5. Type 95 1.51 6. Mk14 1.48 7. MP7 1.47 8. AA-12 1.46 9. ACR 1.44 10. P90 1.43 (for kicks) 11. USAS-12 1.38 [odd, as I have yet to unlock anything good for this shotgun]
For the record, these numbers include a LOT of laggy-as-heck games. Please don't judge too harshly.

Thanks for the posts. It looks like the MP7 is getting good results as well as the C36C too. I have not had the patience to unlock Damage, Range or XMags on any of the shotguns so my performance is well below 1. These stats could be useful for chosing a gun to spend a prestige token on.

top 10 w/ killcount (if you do some math you can check my deaths :3)
G36C 2.29 1010 ACR 2.11 2203 PP90M1 2.10 730 CM901 2.04 631 (now defunct underbarrel ROF increase) M4A1 1.99 1872 MP7 1.97 1076 MK46 1.82 938 (generally silenced) FAD 1.77 872 MSR 1.73 564 L86 LSW 1.72 1076 (read- all the kills leading up to and including grip+thermal unlock)
I find that the ACR isn't a spectacular gun, it's just more consistent to me than any other assault rifle. More flexible.
Guess it is an "adaptive combat rifle" after all.

Just a reminder: there are a smorgasbord of variables that affect individual kill-death ratio, and a good number of those are largely intangible. Positioning, for example, is more important to a healthy kill-death ratio than any gun-specific characteristic, not to mention there is likely to be a noticeable difference in performance among guns a player picks up later on in the game's life cycle opposed to the ones picked up early on.
That said, here are my top 5 guns, in terms of kill-death ratio, with over 500 kills:
2.05 - Type 95 1.95 - FAD 1.81 - FMG9 (always +Akimbo) 1.72 - MP9 (always +Silencer) 1.67 - Striker

I play on PC so I'll never get Elite LOL. Not like I have the money to pay $50 a year on top of paying almost that per month for internets.

Thats why I was supprised by my M4A1 doing so well. All I wanted to see was any trends or supprises coming from other bro's top guns too. Ta
