blip.tv/file/2603050Before any one says anything: there were no enemies around whatsoever and the claymore was not shot. This isn't the first time my freshly planted claymore has exploded for no reason.

The killcam simulates actual players, and these simulations can trip claymores.

Seriously? Man, that might be the dumbest thing in any video game ever.

It's worse on CoD5: Placing a BB by a freshly killed person results in your death. In CoD4, it only resulted in the Claymore going off due to it's cone-spread.

But does it only happen when the player killed also actually watches the killcam? So only when he walks through the claymore on the map in his killcam. Or does it happen anyway? even if he hits the X button (on xbox and something different on other platforms ofcourse) and doesn't watch the killcam?

Anytime somebody dies there is a killcam running in the programming, even if killcam is off (HC) or the person skips it. The killcams always simulate players.
