Hi there.
I saw on a Call of Duty Wiki a while ago the assertion that the AK-74u has the mobility of the assault rifles, and since have tried to confirm this myself. I have not had the benefit of the game code, but it definitely seems slower during sprint than the MP5, and my character sprints the same distance as assault rifles before tiring. Is this merely poor perception, or is there something in this? Would you be able to give me the figures for mobility?
Many thanks,
Palest Blue.

The AK74u's type is classified as "Rifle". Because of that, it has 95% movement speed compared to the other SMGs.
It was originally going to be an Assault Class weapon, grenade launcher and all. It has more in common with the Assault weapons than it does with submachine guns. It's only similaraties with SMGs are the bare weapon's hip spread and short damage range.

You forgot about its full ADS movement speed, one of the most important parts! /slaps Den /gets smitten

BTW I'm a major contributor at the CoD wiki, and the main reason that the stats on there are actually correct (of course due to the info which Den has so graciously provided).

Kung-fu fighting =/= knife fighting, but awesome nonetheless. Also, great Futurama reference.
