Hey guys
How is your stats in the new game different from the others?
In cod4 i got a 1.31 k/d and a 1.49 in w@w, but only a 1.19 in mw2, before testing.
One thing iv noticed is that the map design in mw2is a lot more complex and diverse compared to the others. In cod4 i can come barging around a corner and only have a window and two streets to look down, in w@w everything seemed to be an open area and all i had to do was keep a watchful eye, but in mw2 i come around a corner and i have 3 ledges, 10 windows, and 5 roads to look down at once. In addition to that no matter where your at you are flankable or visible. Also the weapons are a bit stronger and seem to be more accurate than in the other games, so you really have to be on your A game.
One thing iv done to help out with this is when on the move, take your time moving, take corners slow, and take advantage of smoke and flash grenades. When i get to a nice spot, instead of looking to see if a enemy is there and move on i lounge around for a sec. Iv noticed that some one will pop there head out, take the shot then move out. Im still getting used to this cause i was a run and gun domination player and old habits are hard to break.
Also one thing that kept me at an average of 25-30k and 5-10d in a TDM is a silencer and heartbeat sensor. The silencer so you dont show up on radar and heartbeat sensor to find those campers or someone that has cold blooded on. Keep a stinger with you for every enemy uav and other air support. It will save you and your teams butt.
Sitrep is awesome cause you can spot a claymore a mile away.
After realizing these i went from a 1.19kdr to a 1.68kdr in 2 days.
If you guys have anymore tips for adjusting to the new game and tactics post up.
