Does anyone have any idea when you unlock each of the camo patterns?
The strategy guide lists the following information:
5 headshots = 500 XP 15 headshots = 1,000 XP 30 headshots = 2,500 XP 75 headshots = 5,000 XP 150 headshots = 10,000 XP 250 headshots = 10,000 XP 350 headshots = 10,000 XP 500 headshots = 10,000 XP
There are 8 camo patterns listed in the strategy guide: desert, arctic, woodland, digital, urban, blue tiger, red tiger & fall. You start off with desert unlocked. I think that there must be an additional unannounced camo pattern. Does anyone know which camo pattern is unlocked at each of the headshot counts? I figure that digital, urban, blue tiger, red tiger and fall are unlocked in that order, but do not know how many headshots for each. I have urban camo unlocked for one of my guns, but did not pay any attention to how many headshots it took to get me there.

Fall only requires 250 headshots.
Since Desert and Arctic are already open, the rest fit right in; the guide is mistaken as to the 500 mark.

Hey Den,
Would it make sense for them to have XP awarded for 350 and 500 headshots without actually unlocking anything, provided of course, that the guide is actually correct?
I realize that you pulled the camo pics from the game files showing the 8 listed camos. 500 headshots with one weapon is a hell of a lot of headshots, so it is entirely possible that they decided to cap it at the 250 with the fall camo. I am just curious if there is gold to be had (or another camo). Perhaps there could be a color picker that would not show up as a set camo picture.

I know that after you get all the attachments for a weapon, there are still marksmen challenges for that weapon available up to at least 750 kills, awarding 10k xp.
after I prestige'd, it gave me more challenges including mastery and veteran challenges that award you an additional 10k xp and give you a weapon specific title for reaching the 500 kills and 250 headshots.
In my experience, even with the prestige 10 rank hackers out there, I haven't seen anything other than the camo we know is in game.
so you don't get an other camo, but later in ranks (and especially in prestige) the 10k xp is way useful.

You wouldn't happen to be the same Mandalorian that took the Unreal Editor 3 class at Vassar with me, would you?

I have a similar question.
Was sniping yesterday and on an after match report I got a message
"You have unlocked Urban Camo, you will now be camouflaged in urban maps while sniping"
It seems like it unlocked a new ghillie suit for the city levels, would I be right and is there more to unlock?

There are 3 levels to the Ghillies in the Mist challenge (named after a prerelease multiplayer trailer for CoD4, of all things), which requires you to get a certain number of 1 shot kills with sniper rifles to unlock new ghillie suits.

[quote Would you happen to know all of the ghillie suits available? I know that there is Arctic and Urban. I am not sure what other ones are available.

You start with Woodland, the Ghille in the Mist challenges unlock Arctic, Urban, and Desert, in that order. You COULD also go look at the challenge in your Barracks, by the way, which would give you all that information as well as how many headshots you need for each one.

so by selecting the weapon's camouflage is that how it decides on what ghille suit you get or does the map your playing on decide? I question this because I could have swore that on Rundown I was running around with a white ghille suit because I had either Digital or Arctic selected as my weapon camo, not 100% sure about this though.

It's all a function of what map you're on.
