My high score was over 2200 hits on normal mode. Anyone top that, or am I just the bestestest?
Oh, and is the Thermal Scope actually good on the FAM16?

Thermal is definitely a useful attachment for FAM16. However, I think this class:
AUG HBAR w/ Grip+Thermal
Any secondary (Stinger is recommended)
Any equipment (my personal choice is knife+2xstun)
Bling+
SP+
SA+
End result = Super duper gosh darn golly gee whiz gun. It's very accurate, kills in 2 shots at any range, and thus is effective at every range because it can spray like a god at close range and snipe better than most sniper rifles at long range.
