UAVs have a 30 second timer. If I call in a UAV and then a teammate calls one 5 seconds later, does it cancel out my UAV and reset the timer to 30, does it add the timers for both UAVs together for a total of 60 seconds, or does my original UAV continue as normal and he has basically wasted his?

No, your own UAV will still only last 30 seconds but the sweeps become much quicker with 2 up.
You should try and coordinate with your team mates, hardline + everyone with UAV as a kill streak could mean constant UAV.

Having more UAVs up also offers redundancy if the other side is running launcher secondaries. If one gets knocked down, you've got a spare.

is that true? I think there will never be 2 uav's in the air to shoot down.. if you shoot down one they are al gone I think (the uav's are all in the same drone in the air) not sure though...
never seen the faster sweps either, but maybe I never saw it... is it true?

If you have 2 UAVs up then 2 are in the sky and the sweeps are twice as fast.

nobody uses UAV anymore! WHY? WHY? They all think it's useless. I shed a tear for the UAV. OK, I use the care package instead of the UAV now, but thats because I could get a UAV out of it, or maybe something better (even though it won't add to my killlstreak).

swedeking, you are clearly a huge part of the problem because almost everyone is using that mentality. You really have no right to complain.
I always have UAV equipped.

I don't use the UAV because it's simply not as fun as other killstreaks. I always have an AC130 on (love those things) unless using Chopper Gunner, almost always have Harriers on, and then the last choice I reguarly switch between guided missile, B2, and EMP.

what I mean is, I was going to use UAV because I want to have it up all the time... But then I said, Care packages will get me a UAV a lot of the time, (or a counter UAV, which I also like), so that's good for my UAV situation, but could also get me a chopper gunner or harrier or something that won't add to my killstreak but is still real good, right? But my teammates all must be running pavelow, chopper gunner, nuke or something because they never put up UAVs. (either that or they are just so bad they can't get a 3 killstreak  |

I often run UAV Care package and Predator because that will benefit me way more then harrier chopper gunner and nuke will in the long run.

I often run UAV Care package and Predator because that will benefit me way more then harrier chopper gunner and nuke will in the long run. same here. originally i used counter-uav a lot, but i find opposing teams aren't using uav enough for me to spend a killstreak slot jamming it. also, gambling for a chopper gunner/ac130 with the care package is more fun! |
