It certainly does seem pristine -- even for it to feature in tournaments like MLG with such an early life span.

I don't plan on getting the game any time soon, but I'm very curious as to how the bullet-time would work in a multiplayer match.

Is there a mode without the "bursts"? To me they seem to only detract from fun gameplay
I'll buy it anyway for the SP but I might try getting into multiplayer..

Nah there isn't a mode without bursts as far as I'm aware, unless its in hardcore but I won't know until I unlocked it (requires 5000 kills) and even then I doubt it. Bullet-time works really well, I heard that they had it in red dead redemption as well.
I wonder if anyone will make a weapon damage chart for this.

Finished the story. Played a few MP rounds. It is neato. I wonder how accurate those damn bars are.

He means the Bursts. Some of them will surely be somewhat annoying to many people unless you outfit yourself specifically to combat them with the relevant Items.

Multiplayer for about the first 20 ranks is a pain (though only Rank 8, that isn't stopping me from staying near the top of the scoreboard with just a Mini-30 or going full sprint carrying only a pistol). Already players with significant advantages from being able to equip more than one item and with access to high power rifles that have actual range and whatnot because they're at high/maximum ranks.

So not a multiplayer worth sticking with.
I don't think this game sold very well too. Glad I made the decision to wait out

It isn't bad, it is just lacking. There's little sense of feedback. Firing weapons, getting hit, moving. The Euphoria physics movement is often times detrimental. I find my character often does this little loop in which he steps one way before going the way I wanted him to go from a stationary position. It is more like controlling a tank that has to spin its tracks around rather than a biped affected by momentum. Still, it isn't enough of an impediment that I can't pull this off.
