so what do you guys think about the perk? in my fist prestige I have died several times for the lack of SP to get pro. and when I had it. It was not nearly as good as I thought... the pulling up the gun is not that much faster I guess. Or allot of times when I sprint into another person I get killed by lag anyway... and with SP you need one less bullet to kill the guy so you can pull your weapon up later on... And it just blows when your enemy has UAV... then I always think: "I should have taken cold blooded or stopping power" what do you guys think? I have not gotten pro this prestige yet (53) and I dont think I will ever get it again till my 10th prestige. It is fun for my shotgun class (asault rifle with heartbeat, marathon, lightweight, ninja, striker (or model)) but other then that. Nah just give my any of the other... do any of you guys really like it?

The only class I use Lightweight on is my Riot Shield class, but even that doesn't work too well. The thing about the pro version is that it is so easy to get. All you need to do is get Marathon+Lightweight and run circles in the back of the map and you can potentially get 2 pro perks-albeit two quite useless pro perks.
IMO, lightweight is the worst 2nd tier perk in the game. Only good for CTF or Riot Shield.
I thought they should have made Lightweight pro faster ADS from sprint (at least by 2x) AND faster weapon swaps. It just seems like such a useless perk.

Shotguns go great with Lightweight. Maybe there's some hidden function regarding ADS with shotguns (or a placebo), but when I aim down the sights of a SPAS12, I can nail the enemy in one shot.
Outside of that, I'd take Cold-Blooded.

Marathon Pro is actually pretty great for rushers. By faster climbing, they mean FASTER climbing.

Marathon is great yeah, It is my major perk (if you cant kill 7 ppl with the ammo you get, you will not getting to the 5th kill anyway, so no need for scavanger here) and slight of hand is nice, but with my silencer classes I prefer to rush and flank and shotty them in the back that is why I wanted lightweight pro, because in my rush I often meet some noob from the other team who does not know where the normal enemy should be or he is just to afraid to sprint:P but lightweight really does not help that problem IMO, does it with you? stopping power still looks better because I only have to hit them twice with my Tar for example. It seemed nice but altogether it is not. (only for crazy classes like riot, and all knife)

I usually just use Stopping Power. The 2-shot kill with the Aug HBAR is just... too amazing... I overpower most guns at close range and every gun at mid to long range.

When I want to go fast, I use lightweight. I use Cold-Blooded when I am going slow

I just read lightweight pro only is better when you ADS from sprining, and I never do that actually... how does it work then? is it like a slight of hand pro out of sprinting? and do they work with eachother? who wants to ADS at point blanc range anyway? (and it does not work with my akimbo 1887 )

Lightweight improves the delay after sprinting, both firing from the hip and ADS. I don't know why I had that, I think I mistook the ADS part of Sleight of Hand for Lightweight.

Hey, it just occurred to me... If we knew the ADS times, it might be that the benefit of lightweight pro is actually significantly greater than the millisecond difference of Stopping Power.

Theres already gun charts out there with ADS etc. Marathon lightweight and commando is the knife or riot class. But it's also amazing with model classes. Sprinting then shooting immediately is great with models, no need to crouch or jump to cancel movement.

The ADS transition times appear to be near-equal to their COD4 predecessors. With that and some time testing in previous threads, we can deduce:
Pistols, Machine Pistols, and magnums have between 0.1 and 0.2 seconds. SMGs and Shotguns have 0.2. Assault Rifles have 0.25. LMGs have 0.35. Launchers have 0.5 seconds. Snipers Rifles are 0.6 both ways or 0.4 in, 0.6 out.
