Sorry if this question is noobish or what have you, but what is "sway"? And how does it affect using the weapons? Are they more inaccurate, etc.? Sway is the degree to which your weapon's sights move around when you look over them - it's also called "idling". In MW2, a number of ACOGs sway, all thermal and sniper scopes, and the AK-47's sights sway when any attachment is used. Thermal sights and sniper scopes allow you to "hold your breath" which temporarily decreases sway but swaying ACOGs and iron sights can't be steadied.

Ah, I see. How about the non-AK47 weapons? Any way to know what weapons sway with what attachments?

try aiming down the sights and see if it moves on its own! LoL! Yeah, well, that xD . The non-sniper, non-AK weapons don't idle when not equipped with either an ACOG or thermal though, and even then not always.
