There's a Hex Region on Indar that the NC take all the time.
I have to keep an eye open at all times for when the Quartz Ridge Camp is taken and always go to recover it, investigating the immediate area for any NC activity, as they usually try to sneak into HVAR or the Secure Data Lab.
Like a detective who's jurisdiction is the most seedy neighborhood in the city.
That's why they need a man like me, the man behind the desk of the Quartz Detective Agency.
A one-man Outfit housing only the hardest of the hard-boiled cops ever to walk to the NOPE to get a drink of his favorite vice: tap water on the rocks.
Yeah, that stuff will eat through you like rust eats through metal with its cloudy minerals and lowered quality regulations, but a man needs to be grizzled for this line of work.
So grizzled that if you ain't pushing the boundaries, you ain't doing your job - that's why "Quartz Detective Agency" is just at 24 characters long.
At least, on one server.
Used to be you could have the same name across different servers, now both names and outfits are reserved across all servers.
So maybe

I'm focusing on the Terran Republic.
Though unless they specifically prevent an individual account from choosing multiple factions on different servers, not much is stopping anyone from being TR on Himalia, VS on Metis and NC on Leda or whatever (the server names are likely going to be changed again before release, too, so pinning down which servers to go to by name doesn't matter right now).
As long as we avoid whichever server the Enclave are going to.
When it comes to infantry (in the store at least), the weapons available to each faction overlap quite a bit. All three pretty much have access to each others' weapons in statistical relevance. The NC may have a slower, stronger sniper rifle by default, a TR Infiltrator can buy his own Bolt Driver rifle.

Got to say, I'm intrigued by the VS Magrider tank. Edit - just quickly dipped into the game; absolutely blown away by it!  No time to give it a proper try right now; work beckons. First char is "psijaka"; VS on Leda. Deleted. I intend to try out all 3 empires before I commit to one. Edit 2 - for some reason I didn't spot the EU servers when I created my char so I'll be deleting the char above once I create a char on an EU server. Deleted. I try... TR will be my go-to, as far as I can tell so far (even though I love the tanks on Vanu). I love the feel of the weapons and the oldschool rock their face off, together we are legion attitude of TR. And there is NO ONE worse than the blues, as far as I can tell... NC sucks a big one.
But seriously, I love this game so far... it's going great for me, and really appeals to my Battlefield senibilities while offering gameplay beyond what BF can offer.

I'm totally hooked on this game, much to my wife's disgust. It has the good points of BF, but with so much more depth and scale. Plus, they are the only enemy which regularly use bouncing betties, which may be the most annoying thing for a flag capper like myself. Just the people who play them |

Just unlocked them; definately NC for me ;D On Herse, it seems as if NC are often pushed into their Warpgate by either VS or TR; definately seem to be the underdogs on this server. Different story on Chaldene though. |
