Does anybody know anything about AI controlled killstreak rewards targeting each other?

In a TDM on Quarry the other day, I had a harrier out, and someone on the other team called in a pave low, and I got credit for destroying it, but I was hanging out indoors and never even saw the thing. That leads me to believe that my harrier shot it down. If it was on purpose, that's freaking awesome. If it was trying to shoot at a guy on the ground and the pave low was just in the way, that's still pretty cool.

Generally if I'm doing well enough to call in harriers, the other team isn't doing well enough to call in pave lows, so I don't see conflicting air support cases often. Anyone else ever see things like this happen?

Yes, the Harrier will shoot air-to-air missiles at Cobras, Hinds, Pave Lows, and Apaches. I'm not sure if it shoots at UAV, and I've yet to see Harriers shoot at each other.

I wonder if it'll shoot at an AC130?

I was ecstatic when my harrier shot down a chopper gunner before the guy could even get 2 kills.

It won't shoot at predators (UAV/Counter UAV) or AC130s. This is extremely obvious if you actually use Harriers, UAVs, counter-uavs, or AC130s.

Wait, Counter UAV is in the sky and can be shot down?

Yep, it's a predator drone the same as a regular UAV. When you shoot it down, it'll say 'Restored UAV' instead of 'Destroyed UAV'.
