I am sure that this is already discussed in one of the BO2 thread, but would like to start a new one for dedicated discussion.
The perk to avoid UAV detection is Ghost. But the twist is that
"Ghost — Cannot be detected by enemy UAVs while moving."
So you'll have to move constantly to avoid detection by UAV. Looks like the "roaming c a m p" is going to be the new fashion in c-a-m-p-e-r town.
Note that "moving" makes you vulnerable to sound-whoring, unless you use
"Dead Silence — Move silently"
But wait, that most likely is countered by
"Awareness — Enemy movements are easier to hear."
New round of cat-and-mouse game begins for rusher vs. camper, flanker vs. sound-whore ...

I really hope there's a reasonable window of time or something. If I show up on radar while calling in a scorestreak or while shooting after a dolphin dive I'm not going to be very pleased.

Patrolling is the new camping.

Why is patrolling bad? It's not nearly as bad as some kid sitting in a corner fully ADS'd, with full sway kicked in.

Patrolling isn't bad, it's good.

Yet people still wail at you for being a tactical loitering female dog, lawl.

I hope you don't show up on radar while you are controlling a KS. More importantly, I hope this time frame is adjustable post release.

I find"Patrolling" to be the most effective playstyle. Rushing will put you into scopes, and corner campers can be anticipated. Most of the MOAB videos you see do this.

Couldn't they just crouch in a corner and move a little bit (few inches) back and forth? There, they can still camp undetected and not be heard by sound whoring. Which is a BAD thing.

In MW3 I aim in and out naturally to avoid sway. Looks like me and everyone else playing BO2 will just learn muscle memory for whatever fidgeting gets you of UAVs.

I'm also guessing this will apply to X-ray sights as well? If people aren't moving, even using Ghost, then they can be seened through the walls. But if using Ghost and moving, then u can't see them through.

So you'll have to shoot UAVs constantly to avoid detection by UAV. Fixed. This actually makes a lot of sense. Watched a game play video and looks like the UAV can be easily taken out. So my guess is that choosing a launcher instead of Ghost might be a far more popular strategy against UAVs.

So almost everybody will use ghost, instead of using 1 point for a launcher.

So almost everybody will use ghost, instead of using 1 point for a launcher. That might be true when Ghost gives you UAV immunity when standing still. If I am required to move at all times to use Ghost, I might as well ditch Ghost in favor of a launcher to knock out the UAV. Hopefully this will also reward me with some scores towards my score streaks.

But if using Ghost and moving, then u can't see them through. Cold-Blooded confers detection immunity, not Ghost. Have we confirmed that Cold-Blooded counter X-Ray vision (millimeter scanner?)? Description of Cold-Blooded did not indicate so: Cold-blooded — Resistance to targeting systems including Dual Band, Target Finder, Sensor Grenades and player-controlled aircraft. My guess is that they made the MMS' range very small, but no counters. So in essence it is a camper buster tool (think of it like MW3 recon without having to throw in grenades). I like this better than having Cold-Blooded counter it as well as Target Finder, which will make Cold-Bllooded a bit OP.

Cold-blooded — Resistance to targeting systems including Dual Band, Target Finder, Sensor Grenades and player-controlled aircraft. Probably meant, "including but not limited to." Treyarch is dumb, but not this dumb.

Considering FMJ adds to vehicle damage like Blind Eye Pro does, and people that want to camp for long term probably have Silencer on their weapons, how about doing yourself and your team a favor and shooting down that killstreak?
Considering the LMGs seem to have good irons and don't really need Ext Mags, I'll probably throw FMJ + Silencer on them and take down ScoreStreaks with that instead of taking a Launcher. Not only do I have enough ammo for it, but FMJ will help make sure I lose almost nothing for penetration.
At least, that's my hope.

since you were so kind to repost an already closed discussion, ill repost my old comment on the old thread:
tactical loitering is a significant part of the game. everyone has done it and no one likes getting killed by a camper. as much as i'd enjoy seeing this happen, this would be a major game changer. as soon as people found out this were true, and that they were forced to move, they would stop playing. honestly, a huge amount would just discontinue to play. and what about the people who enjoy ninja defusing? they have to just walk around and hope that no one sees them? what about the people who snipe and know someone is coming around the corner? walk around with their horrible sway and hope they make the shot? it's wishful thinking and IT WON'T HAPPEN. PLEASE STOP.
