What weapons do you think are best for Akimbo?
So far, I like the M1887's (cheapest cqb gun in the game), dual Rangers (they're OK, but 2 rangers>1 ranger), dual .44's, dual Deagles, and dual G18.
The dual Mag/Deagle is really nice to have for it's superior switch time and amazing 0 ttk. I've heard that the G18 doens't have a hip-fire penalty for Akimbo, making it more desirable. The dual shotties are beastly, and I think the 1887's are kind of unbalanced because they rip apart almost every other gun in the game at cqb.
Post your ideas/comments.

UMP (because of its high damage, very few shots need to hit), Vector (because of its low recoil, akimbo will be more accurate), P90 (because of its high rate of fire, large clips, and decent accuracy), Magnums (because of their high damage), and the Model 1887s... Akimbo Rangers are only good up close.

Mag seems to outclass Deagle in most ways, including long range damage. Though you get 6 shots rather than 7.
For akimbo, though you might note that if you are using SP then the USP and M9 are also 2HK for 0 TTK. They could give you more rounds and less recoil (in case you miss or are too far away). You could also bling on silencers even though it will drop your 2HK 0 TTK range or extended mags, neither of which the Mag or Deagle get.

MP5 - almost as wasteful as using Rapid Fire on this thing. UMP45 - Power and Steady, it does well okay up close. Vector - no way would I want to lose the most accurate SMG's accuracy! P90 - Wasteful, but why not? Loads of ammo. Mini-Uzi - I've yet to unlock it's Akimbo, but it is probably an even more wasteful P90 with longer reloads and smaller mags.
PP2000 - No way. This thing has the least kick next to the ACR, it's akimbo spread is monstrous. Glock 18 - #1 dual-wield weapon of choice. M93R - Like a shotgun with more range than the Masterkey. TMP - Haven't seen anyone even try it yet. Neither have I.
USP - Eh. Magnum - Heck yeah. Potential Zero Time To Kill up close. Spread isn't bad either. M9 - Slightly less of an "eh" than the USP. Eagle - No way, the view kick is ridiculous. Just use the Magnum.
Ranger - Don't see why you wouldn't want to. M1887 - See Ranger.

Vector - no way would I want to lose the most accurate SMG's accuracy! That's exactly it, though. I think the Vector probably has the largest range of any akimbo SMG, but it's like the shotgun attachment: you have to aim directly at the target. Also, I forgot to mention: Akimbo rangers are nice because of their high damage, they will easily shred painkiller-users. Glock 18 - #1 dual-wield weapon of choice. Forgot to mention this one too.

1887s definitely, they are permanently my secondary for lack of an equally powerful option.

G18's, Winches and Magnums practically MUST be used with akimbo. The Winch loses all its weak points when akimboed (slow cycling time, extremely slow reloads). It also suits the Raffi very well too though that one is utterly brutal without akimbo as well and doesn't really "need" it.

the weakness with the TMP is the magazine size, it is very accurate (i'd argue its more accurate than the pp2000, rivaling the ACR), so it'd be interesting to see it with akimbo and extended mags with bling pro. It appears to suffer massive accuracy penalties, so it'd have to be used with steady aim at any kind of distance like most of the akimbo weapons.
I only used it in singleplayer and spec ops and it seriously kicks ass, but we all know that the stats in multiplayer are always different.
