Was in a TDM on Rust last night and managed to get my Harriers out, they got 2 kills but the Pavelow didn't show up on my streak, so I had to get another 2 kills with my gun, then the Pavelow raped but I didn't get my AC130, I got another kill then died. WTF is up with this sh it? Anyone else ever experienced this BS? Was loads of time left and I imagine an AC130 on Rust would completely demolish the other team FML

The Pave Low and Attack Helicopter are bugged and kills they make do not count towards your killstreak.

Its glitchy. I think you have to get a kill before the attack heli and pave low count towards a streak.
The Harrier thing just sounds like a bug.
You could just use stealth bomber, that thing is a guaranteed 2 kills at least.

@slash: But, you know, on Rust one of those minimum 2 deaths is probably going to be you =p Along with everybody on the enemy team.

With all these 15mb updates I've had to download, why the hell haven't they sorted these things?
Why didn't play testers catch this? Amateurs.

Some guys just tested out the Sentry Gun and Pave Low and they may have found the exact bug. Whoever calls the Sentry Gun or Pave Low first will get kills added to the killstreak. Afterwards, whoever calls the same thing does not. So they only work once and only and absolutely once per match.

No one else got a pavelow that match but someone did get a sentry, think they cross interfere? That would be ridiculous though.

Hopefully IW are busy ironing these things out, wonder if they even play tested...

pavelow and attack helli are far to strong to stack... So is a Harrier, you can get 2 kills off the strike if you have UAV up or if you're generally good at placements. Then unchecked it will get at least 4 kills so you would get you're big 11 streak. Personally I've decided to not use 11 kill streaks anymore, instead focussing on 5 7 9 and rinse and repeat while my current pavelow puts in work and I don't need to worry about it not stacking.

Indeed, that is what I do now too sometimes... (uav, harier, pavelow) it works pretty well... mayb gets you even as many kills as a chopper gunner sometimes (you can kill think yourself if your pavelow is up, while a AC/CG is taking all your attention...)

yeah, I was thinking it might be intentional to keep the killstreaks from getting too overpowered. I'm yet to get a nuke, but after I do that I think I'll have three low killstreaks as well.

Only if the Harrier is the one that's bugged. But from what I've heard the choppers are actually swapped and DO count on your kill streaks when they come from care packages. But that's only what I've heard.

Personally I use 7/11/25 for non-SnD and 3/4/5 for SnD. While getting an AC130 in SnD is highly entertaining it doesn't really contribute a whole lot in an SnD match and I've gotten buzzkilled so many times at 10 it's kinda frustrating anyways.
