I'm not entirely too sure if this belongs here so feel free to move this thread to another board or redirect me to another thread. (questions in bold)
Do kill streaks rewards not add up after you die? It was in CoD4 so could it be just some killstreaks don't add up or some type of bug?
Does Barret 40 Cal. need Stopping Power? to kill in the upper chest? Afterall it does 70 base damage and upper chest is x1.5 = 105
What's the difference between intervention and 50 cal besides recoil and RPM? IMO it looks like 50 cal wins it in every category unless there's something I don't know.
Could this actually show there is proof of golden weapons? I'm just asking because there this video which looks like the user has a golden UZI.
Thanks, and sorry if these questions were already answered. (You are my bro, bro.)

You don't lose any KS rewards that you have already earned when you die, but yeah it resets the KS counter to zero. This is usually how people wind up with 3 UAV's and such. ;p If you have a good KS that is not from a carepackage or emergency air drop, you have time left in the match, and you know that you're about to die, then you can save it for your next life and the kills you get with it will count towards a new kill streak. So you could actually use a harrier to get a new harrier, for example. In fact you should be able to pop it, die, and still get kills for your new life's KS as long as you respawn while it's still killing. The carepackages and air drops don't add to your KS, though, and the Pave Low was bugged to work backwards (only from carepackages), but they may have fixed that in the last patch since it's a simple bug. I dunno, though.
I'm with L3GA__C on the Barret vs Intervention after originally thinking Barret outclassed it. After a little testing they seem about on par for actual sniping due to the Barret's recoil taking about as long to retarget as the Intervention takes to chamber the next round.
My specific impressions are that the I was able to retarget after a shot ever so slightly faster and a tiny bit easier with the Barret, but it was harder to keep an eye on the target which requires more or less reacquiring them after the recoil. Either way, honestly, go for the OHK or you'lly probably just piss the guy off and he'll turn around with an AR or LMG and end you.
The more practical differences are that the Barret has more ammo and you can spray it from the hip in a pinch instead of switching to secondary, though it's a waste of ammo. The intervention on the other hand reloads single rounds very quickly so if you like to reload after every shot it's pretty decent.
Try both, see which suits your style. Take a good secondary along with you and consider using cold blooded instead of stopping power if you have trouble. Staying alive > lethality.

This was true in CoD4, but is NOT true in MW2. Any kills made by your air support or sentry guns or whatnot only count towards your streak if you use them in the life you got them. A Harrier Airstrike will NOT add kills to your count to get a second one after you die. I can understand why they did this, it was easy enough to use one Attack Helicopter to get a second one in CoD4, it'd be far, far too easy to use one Chopper Gunner to get a second Chopper Gunner and just keep one in the air all match.

If anyone's still playing CoD4, just a tip for chaining: Get 2 kills before you call in your chopper, at which point you can just lay low and let your chopper get your third, and probably your fifth kills, then you can use your UAV and airstrike closer together (since you won't have to rely on your UAV so much to get up to 5), which will get you to your next chopper.
