Is this attachment completely useless now? I haven't noticed it reducing recoil at all, on any weapon.

Grip does amazing things for the second LMG (the QBB LSW). It's almost mandatory on that gun.

pretty sure it only adds like +100 centerspeed... it does feel pretty useless on almost every gun. There are many other superior attachments.

well it added +100 CS in BO1, so I would assume it's the same this time around. Hence the reason i said "pretty sure"

+2% center speed, +1.5 for smg's. So about 30 or so on average

All I'm saying is that its not good to give out numbers we don't have.

I've actually found grip to be slightly more useful than in past games so far, particularly on some of the auto ARs. Also post source or don't bother posting numbers beer0clock.

Grips are weird. When I do a wall spray test, it seems the effect is almost negligible on almost all guns. However, when used in an actual match on an opponent, it all of a sudden seems so helpful.
Idk how much CS it adds. But however little, when combined with sticky aim, ends up being pretty helpful.
Try spraying a Vector with silencer+grip and one just silenced at a wall and then use them in a match. You'll see what I mean.

Wall spreads don't really mean much in BO2 compared to other CODs, due to the minimum recoil, especially at the short range they are typically done at. While the variances aren't as large, they are more evenly distributed away from the center.

girp is more useful on guns that have high kick and low rpm, because the aim will recenter faster, before the next shot is fired, it has little effect on guns with high rpm and little recoil.

I find the grip to be relatively useless compared to other attachments and options. When I look at attachment choices, I look at Quickdraw (almost EVERY SINGLE GUN), Long Barrel or Suppressor, possibly Laser Sight, and then if the gun needs ammo help I'll consider that. The grip generally won't win you firefights in the same way as the above mentioned, and the recoil difference really isn't enough to allow you to make shots you wouldn't have made otherwise.
I mean, it's nice to have, but so are sights on guns and Fast Mag. It's more about being fun to use and making it easier on you as a player. In terms of efficiency, it's kind of sub-par.

20% reduction in recoil was a bit too much in MW3, but I think a flat 15% decrease in recoil (instead of boosting centerspeed) would have been good for the foregrip in BO2. Oh well, more wasted space in the game files I guess.

20% reduction in recoil was a bit too much in MW3, but I think a flat 15% decrease in recoil I think I'm gonna have to correct you here. Kick in MW3 reduced ViewKick by 10% and GunKick by 10%. For the sake of the strategy guide, IW just said "Reduces recoil by 20%" because it's easier that way. But yeah, Kick was too dominant in MW3 so I think a 7.5% reduction in View- and GunKick (you're 15% idea) would be useful enough to make a difference, but not overly-useful to the point that nothing else even matters.

Maybe SCAR-H's Grip works in another way, not like for other weapons?.. Its bonus is really insane compared to other guns.

Not sure if this has anything to do with grip, and this is also on console, I've noticed when firing at an enemy with an AR, if you're still within the range of where you get aim assist (where your aim slows down if it's around the enemy) that your bullet spray seems more accurate than when firing at a wall so to speak.

Not everyone is playing on consoles, especially outside of the US. But wait, you all have SCAR-H shooting right on target with the help of Aim Assist now? OK, for you SCAR-H should be overpowered. Possibly Grip is much more useful for PC now.

An other thing. I did some testing firing a few ARs at walls with and without grip, and noticed very little difference with most of them. I did notice that with the SWAT, however, the 3 burst clusters were tighter together with the grip.

The only weapons I've seen major improvements for with the foregrip so far are the MTAR and the SCAR-H. I haven't tried it with many guns yet but the other ones I did try, the difference was either small or unnoticeable.
