soo we cant edit IWD files, does that mean we wont be able to get info from them? do we even use the IWD files to pull information? was curious in case it affected the research

Well you could use your computer to change the files to unlock all weapons on PS3, I'm not sure if that is the Prestige Hack though. It should still be possible to read all the files.

nah the prestige hack is just copying the game save to your PC, editing some data (the hackers made a program do it all for you) and you copy it back into your ps3, do some trick with split screen to upload the game save online and your 10th prestige

The IWD files are probably just going to be checked, in the same way that the config_mp.ini file is checked (and any changed variables or new variables you try to add are removed) when you start the game.

You can modify the IWD files all you want, but when you try to connect to a server you'll get an error about it mismatching now. I removed the annoying hud blood before the patch but now I've had to put it back.
