Anyone know how the scores are calculated in different game modes? I want to figure out the most efficient methods to level up. Also, apparently you don't get points for nuke kills?
Funny domination game today. pretty hectic match with A,B,C flipping between teams constantly. Half way thru the game I hear, "OMG, OMG I got the nuke!" The kid sets it off. Scores come up and he goes "aw, why am I last?" He finishes 33-3 and get 1610 points and last place. Fifth place goes to a guy who got 13-14 with 1620 points. I'm pretty sure that's the way I remembered the numbers, but it doesn't add up if you get 50 pts for each kill in domination.

In objective games you also get points for contributing to the objectives. For example in HQ you get points for actually capturing the HQ and your whole team gets points while you defend the HQ. I went 4 - 6 with a riot/blast shield class in HQ and got second place because I was actually capturing the HQ the most.
Maybe that kid should have focused more on the actual game type. That's a bit of a gripe of mine with nukes. You can actually just play all the game types exactly like TDM and just go purely for your KS as long as you can pull off a nuke, since it will win the game. Good to know that it will not win you the points too, though. And honestly, it's not that hard to shut down a nuker. I use launchers and CB lots and love shooting down their Harriers and Apaches. mwahaha Though I don't much like it when the nuker is on our team, I'd rather he get with the teamwork or just go play TDM. They cost as many games as they win if not more.

Here's Domination.
( "kill", 50 ); ( "headshot", 50 ); ( "assist", 10 );
( "capture", 150 );
( "defend", 50 ); ( "defend_assist", 10 );
( "assault", 50 ); ( "assault_assist", 10 );
Sabotage.
( "plant", 200 ); ( "destroy", 1000 ); ( "defuse", 150 );
Capture the Flag.
( "kill", 50 ); ( "headshot", 50 ); ( "assist", 20 ); ( "pickup", 50 ); ( "return", 50 ); ( "capture", 250 ); ( "kill_carrier", 50 ); ( "defend", 100 ); ( "defend_assist", 100 ); ( "assault", 200 ); ( "assault_assist", 40 );
The rest of the objective gametypes are similar. Tasks give far more points than any kill. Objective kills give you both the points for the kill itself and the objective it was related to (as in kill a dude as he's trying to take B, hundred points instead of fifty).

Yeah, I know those values from playing. But the case I described doesn't add up. What are the bonus points that factor in?

Uh, the objectives? It's really obvious.

I think he's talking about match bonus.

No he's not, he's talking about scores. There aren't places with match bonuses and he couldn't tell what the other guy's was anyways.
He's also not talking about experience. He's talking about plain old what counts towards your in-match score that everyone can see. Answer: Objectives and a straight kill. Period. The experience you get for special shots (head, long, defend, offense, etc), the xp for calling in killstreaks, etc is all not counted towards your in-game score.

Actually, I'm asking about everything. Scoring is apparent just by playing the game, but my example, the nuke didn't add to the score. I'd also like to know what bonus scores are calculated and also experience points that go into leveling up. If y'all can do distribution graphs of damage for each weapon, y'all can do the score/experience math, right?

Can you post how much XP you earn when you're team mates take your care packages and air drop? I've noticed you get nothing when its an ammo package.

So you don't get points for the Nuke kills at the end of the game even if it counts the kills. *shrugs* Not like you actually earned those kills. All the other KS's can at least be countered. Anyways what does it really matter, you nuke a match and you win the game. Not like people don't know who set off the nuke.
Do you get exp for all of the Nuke kills?
