I've never seen that.... why the hell would you even use a riot shield for that? I do that all the time. In objective games on defense, it not only works, it works extremely well. |

As for M1014 v AA-12: M1014 has a lot more damage, even though it holds only 4 shots and doesn't fire as quickly. |

Haven't noticed anything new on the 360. The Akimbo 1887's disgust me. I won't use them out of principle. i completely agree. lightweight + marathon + akimbo 1887's = instant douche. i refuse to use them too. just like i refuse to use lightweight + marathon + commando. these two setups really ruin the game for me. in response i turn the tables and find a place to "camp" - they cant touch me anymore. tit for tat. |

Basically akimbo+fmj equals the old range.

I was already beginning to think people had found a way around this, judging from the range some people's winches had after the patch. |

Just downloaded the patch for xbox. After some testing, the range on the single 1887 is slightly less than the SPAS and a little more than the striker and M1014. With akimbo, the range seems to have been basically cut in half which translates to being just below the M1014's range. If you use bling with full metal jacket and akimbo, the range is the same pre-patch and they seem to be just as effective. I don't know if this is an oversight by Infinity Ward or what, but it is there.
Besides, and possibly more importantly than the range, the single now fires 8 pellets instead of 6, and the akimbos fire 8 each as well. This lead me to believe that there is almost certainly a damage per pellet change, but I wouldn't know how to go about testing that.

I thought the terminators already fired 8 pellets.
The bling akimbo + FMJ thing sounds like an oversight, but at least it costs the terminators a perk so they can't Marathon and such now. I guess we'll have to wait for the next patch to finally fix them for reals.

Is it just on the 360 or all systems? I never knew a company this big could be so dumb. This is obvious, but all the different variations of the 1887s count as a different gun. So there are 4 combos, no attachments, akimbo, FMJ, and akimbo + FMJ. They only patched the akimbo one. rofl. |

Crysis Warhead is amazing. The visuals alone warrant the purchase. You might not think that's possible, but if you play the game on your setup you will understand. Keep in mind that you will never think that anything has good graphics again, at least not for 2 or 3 years.
