Yes I know I could get a friend into a cage match or something to boost SitRep:Pro, but that's boring. I like to EARN my challenges, because it's much more fun and rewarding.
So, any advice on how to best go about earning SitRep:Pro with the current low usage of claymores?
Thanks

Make friends with Claymore/TI users, get them to party up and start a game, then join after the lobby has formed so you'll get put on the other team.

Finally got SitRep pro a few nights ago on Domination Terminal by tactical loitering on the tarmac and shooting the C4s and clays spammed in the jet and attached bridge. Even after boosting the first half of the quota with a random super nice guy in cage match using OMA and clays, getting the other 60 seemed like an eternity and I imagine doing the full 120 honestly must be painstaking. On a side note I learned some more neat stuff about the perks in the same Terminal game: I was using my "Black Scottish Cyclops (demoman)" class consisting of FAL launcher + C4 + martyr + Thumper + SOHP (great because if you fire and get hit marker but no kill you can reload tube and fire again before they run and it halves the ADS hip firing delay for Blooper/RPG/84MM) + Danger Close Pro (FAL only AR not greatly affected by stopping power) for increased explosive AND killstreak damage: I used the classic Harrier-CG-Nuke build and when piloting the chopper I noticed a DEFINITE increase in damage radius of the chaingun. When hovering over cap point A I was able to fire into the shop directly south of A and kill everyone inside, even those cowering in the furthest corners by hitting them with the outmost edge of the increased radius and seeing 10 or 11 hit markers before the red box disapeared. In previous games I remember myself hiding in those same corners of said shop and the enemy's chopper trying to fire at me from the EXACT same position but not doing damage. When I got the new-Q-lore bomb I died, switched to a cold blooded class and got Cold Blooded Pro when it detonated! Apparantly Nuke has same effect as EMP in destroying enemy killstreaks(sentry guns, UAV, aircraft) and both count towards the CB perk upgrade. It was a very memorable game ever due to every perk, gun, killstreak, equipment(enemy's and mine!) working together in perfect harmony.
Short Version: A dedicated Skill Tube class helps to destroy enemy devices, if you can't shoot it thru the wall, shoot a nade around the corner to destroy the clay/C4.

I will have to try demolition, thanks Den.
Hmm... That's a point. I might try putting SitRep on my DC:Pro class. I don't bother with the thumper because I like the noob toob better for it's quick fire time and I use OMA:Pro to replenish supplies. I've just been using whichever AR I need with more for the next challenge as I rarely have to actually fire it instead of the tube. ;p I also don't really mind dropping SP:Pro as I often roll with CB:Pro on my classes. The only time I really miss it is on LMG's and the FAM16. But I'm using the ACR now and with it's accuracy getting just 1 more hit pretty much literally means just waiting for the next bullet to come out of the gun. Lack of SP is no big deal at all on it, except mebbe at close range. It's already not the best gun at close range though, but hey I actually LOVE using the noob tube at close range. lol I like to picture the fist sized divits I leave in people's chests with that thing. Hell for that matter I've often fired at people's feet when I was on the edge of the detonation range because I didn't want to miss. But even if you are too close for detonation it doesn't matter. Smack him in his little toe with it and they go down dead as a doornail, and no last stand either I believe. The only problems in close quarters are missing and running out of 'nades, but you can always knife or just shoot the damn gun. ;p
BTW on that note, although I do miss SP for my FAM16, for a DC class it wouldn't be that much of a problem. Even w/o SP the FAM16 is a 1 burst kill at close range and at medium range you should probably be tubing. You probably shouldn't do too much fighting at long range unless you're mortaring or you're likely wasting your DC perk.
I've been thinking that Last Stand Pro would be good for DC since you could toss a semtex on the guy's face that just shot you or something. ;p Think I just need a few more kills for pro, but if I can use the class to work on SitRep Pro then I may just. I may not get them all pro before I prestige and there's not really any reason to, but I like working on it and it's more exp anyway. heh
For some reason unlocking challenges is just more satisfying that playing game after game to just grind through exp. Though I do hurt my performance some by switching weapons just when I get rolling well with one. heh I think it will only make me better in the end, though. Once I've actually used every weapon in the game to at least 150 or so kills (at least 170 for AR's since I unlock the thermal's too) that's quite an education. It's already taught me a lot now that I've expanded beyond the SCAR and FAMAS. Though, doing the M16 was a royal pleasure since it's nearly identical to the FAMAS I started using it last night and finish all but the thermal. I kinda sucked tonight though so it took a few games to get my 20 kills. heh Now on to the ACR, which suprisingly for a low damage gun I'm rather enjoying, if being less lethal with it than my FAM16. I think the ACR might be one I actually want an RDS instead of just iron sights on, just because it would make it easier to seek out the headshot. I figure I would still start out aiming for centermass and then coax it up in ADS, but we'll see. It's very fun though and nicely different from the other guns, even the M4.
I'm not sure a Danger Close Pro class is the thing to do for Demolition, or not, though. So I dunno if combining them is a good idea. I might try it just to see. heh I don't think I've actually played Demolition.

Using FMJ is really useful, you can shoot claymores and such through walls, and if your lucky you might get a kill or two. Four times now I've shot claymores through walls and gotten kills, one of them being a multikill!
