Hey, does anyone know if Pavelow kills will add to a killstreak? That is, can I call a Pavelow and get a Chopper Gunner after my Pavelow kills two enemies? It seems to be glitched. Hoping for details - thanks!

supposedly the pave low and attack helicopter are both glitched and don't count toward killstreaks. neither does anything from a care package or airdrop, though suspect that is intentional.

A rather strange thing I believe I've encountered is some games, my Pavelow will jump me from nine kills to eleven kills and let me be a Chopper Gunner. A recent game had me get my Pavelow at nine kills, then it got me two more, and no Chopper Gunner.
I'm aware of the glitch where the Pavelow only counts the first time it's called in for the whole round/match, but I'm almost positive no Pavelow was called in before I called in my own. Anyone have similar experiences or advice?
Thou art mine brother, brother.

Yes the pavelow counts towards your killstreak rewards. I'm assuming the reason it hasnt for you is because you got the pavelow through a care package. NOTHING FROM A CARE PACKAGE COUNTS TOWARDS KILLSTREAKS.

I have experienced it both ways, one time my friend stole a care package with a Pave Low in it from the other team. It helped him get his Nuke that game. I also remember getting a Pave Low myself and it got 2-3 kills and did not get me my AC-130.

I wonder if they'll ever fix it, it definitely seems bugged with its inconsistency
shame because Pave Low is definitely one of the strongest killstreaks imo

NOTHING FROM A CARE PACKAGE COUNTS TOWARDS KILLSTREAKS. Quoted for emphasis.

NOTHING FROM A CARE PACKAGE COUNTS TOWARDS KILLSTREAKS. I've heard that the Pavelow will for some reason work from the Care Package. In any case, I got the Pavelow legit, as perhaps could have been inferred from me being at nine kills.

This most recent hypothesis is that:
The sentry gun and pavelow kill streaks only count to your killstreak if they are the first ones one the map. The attack helicopter might work the same way. They supposedly work if they come from care packages/emergency air drops.
Everything else from a care package/emergency air drop does not count. All other kill streaks earned by kills count.

Hey, does anyone know if Pavelow kills will add to a killstreak? Yes it does. I just confirmed. Spawned Pavelow (not from care package) and had it kill on its own while i was in hiding until i got Chopper Gunner. 24 - 0, Touch Football team death match. Edit: I am on PC BTW.

Kingvaroon... I think you're the one that needs to read. Yes that is how they are INTENDED to work. The problem here is they are bugged.
The KS adding is bugged for the Sentry Gun, Pave Low, and possibly the Attack Chopper and not working properly... thus the in game text is not entirely accurate as it reflects how it is SUPPOSED to work.
What people are trying to work out is exactly how they are glitched. We all know how it's supposed to be.

Lies, everything in the game is obviously as intended, including the "public" private matches, infinite ammo glitch, ect. The developers are clearly omnipotent and never make mistakes. ;p

1.> if you learned to READ, you would see that the in game tips while match is loading CLEARLY says that killstreak rewards recieved from care packages DO NOT count towards your killstreak 1. Obviously, everyone on this message board has already learned to read, or else we wouldn't be on this message board. 2. There's a huge difference between being able to read and trusting what the developers say as if it were gospel. Do you also believe those little in-game bars to describe the weapon stats? Do you think that FMJ increases damage, for instance? Or that blinging on a Silencer and an ACOG has no net effect on range? If you really believed all that, then why are you on a website devoted to figuring out the game stats? And if you don't believe the developers there, then why should you automatically believe the developers everywhere else?

For an even better example of why not to trust what the game says than what ssog provided, one of their actual tips is completely wrong. It says stuns/flashes can disable sentries when they have been proven not to.
However, in this instance, that tip is right. Care package kills don't count towards your killstreak. However treating the OP like he's a dumbass and got it from a carepackage is unbelievably stupid - because the hind and pavelow have been proven glitched where only the first one called in by anybody for each match will count towards killstreak. In fact, even if the first one was called in by a care package it would count towards the killstreak, but a legit one after that wouldn't count, even if it was by a different person.
So for the love of god shut your gosh darn golly gee whiz mouth when you don't know a gosh darn golly gee whiz thing about it.
I love Den's filters.

I don't feel the need to lecture you more. I think you can read all the other posts and get the idea. I'll test this in a bit. Do you want video evidence?

1. A.first sentry gun counts? no
B.2nd sentry gun counts? no
2. A.first pavelow counts? yes
B.2nd pavelow counts? no
3. A.first attack heli counts? yes
B.2nd attack heli counts? yes
I think I did sentry gun wrong. And I need to test the care packages/air drops.

What I'm wondering in my situation is if anyone called in an Attack Helicopter or Sentry Gun before I called in my Pavelow, and this caused my Pavelow to be glitched. Silly and highly improbable, perhaps, but what if?

I do know that for the sentry, it only counts after it is placed the first time. After you move it from its original position, it stops counting towards your killstreak.

People need to do their research before they start spouting nonsense. A Sentry Gun works ONLY when it's used the first time. Pavelow seems to be in the same boat.
