As many may know, you can skip the animation of many things in the CoD series.
In MW2, you can skip the knife animation as discovered by matttheninja. I give all credit to him for giving me the idea of using the same technique to skip of animations.
What you do:
1) During animation, click and hold equipment (does not work with frags).
3) Press switch weapon button
Known things this works for:
Knife animation
Recovering from ladder weapon animation
Climbing over objects and having to bring out weapon
Reload canceling
Weapon switch animation
I've found a simplified technique for the weapon switch technique; this is especially noticeable when switching to a sniper rifle.
When switching to the weapon of choice, once you hear the "click" of switching your weapons, double tap weapon switch.
