On dens modern warfare 2 page denkirson.xanga.com/715966769/modern-warfare-2/ he states this about lightweight: "Lightweight will multiply the player's movement speed by 1.1x ( 8% to 10% increase depending on the weapon). UPDATE: A recent patch on PC has apparently changed the speed scale to 1.07x (meaning only a 5.5% to 7% increase). Lightweight Pro will cut the delay between sprinting and being able to fire in half." I was wondering does certain weapons in the same class run faster than another with lightweight? (ex. MP5 running faster than P90)

im pretty sure all weapons speeds are generalized for that category
so all AR have the same speed all LMG's have the same speed etc.
but i cant confirm that for you

All weapons of the same category do have the same base speed (SMG+Sniper are fastest, followed by Assault rifles and then LMGs. Riot Shield are slowest). Your speed get 7% faster no matter which weapon you use. That is your base speed is always multiplied by 1.07 no matter witch weapon class you spawn with. What he mean by 5.5% to 7% increase is actual number of "speed units" (for lack of better wording). Meaning SMGs or sniper rifles with "a speed of 100 speed units" is increased by 100 - 100*1.07 = 7 speed units while a Riot Shield with "a speed of 80 speed units" is only increased by 80 - 80*1.07 = 5.6 speed units. If that make sense. I might have made things worse
