Hey Den and bros
I've been wondering about a couple things in regards to Dogs.
1. How much health do they have? I thought I remember seeing it as 100, but I can't find it. And do they have any multipliers? 2. How does the dog pack work? Do they respawn after being killed until the minute is up, or is their a finite number of them? 3. What is the range and damage on their attack? I'm especially interested in this because sometimes I can manage to knife them without getting bitten, but usually I trade hits, killing them.
You are my bro, bro.

100 health. They also appear to have the same health-regaining properties of a soldier, five seconds.
There are a total of eight dogs with each call that enter the map from one of several locations, often near the player team that called them in. Only four of eight may be on the field at a time - when one is killed, another arrives. After entering, they move to the enemy spawn area and then spread out, attacking whoever is nearest.
The dogs use the "same" melee attack as a soldier, delivering 40 damage with each hit. It is very common that players will exchange a melee with the dog due to this; the right timing can catch the dog as it lunges.
Oh, and after exactly sixty seconds, they will drop everything and immediately run off.

Hi, I don't really think it is 40 damage is it? because 2 dogs always kill me when they both hit me... or one dog who hits me twice... (mayb it is xbox...)
Another thing, you just can't kill them with a sniper rifle bullet... and that pretty much sucks IMO, so are there no multipliers?

Unless the attack hits twice or something. Or is there a multiplier?

My bad, I opened the item that calls in the dogs, not the actual dog bite.
The dog_bite_mp delivers melee damage of 90.

Huh? This is confusing.... on one hand, the "dogs_mp" file shows that dogs deliver 40 melee damage. On the other hand, we have "dog_bite_mp" that have dogs deliver 90 melee damage.
So which file does the game use? Or does the system utilise both?
Maybe you guys can check how many bites does the dog need to kill you in Old School mode...

dogs_mp is just a "dummy weapon" that shows up in your inventory when you get seven kills, you switch to it for a second, it uses itself automatically and vanishes.
