Seems like just last week it took one rocket to take down hovering harriers... last night it took 2, or 1 and a full magazine from a light machine gun (on multiple occasions). Can anyone confirm? You are my bro, bro.

Here's the scoop on harriers. Dont waste your bullets on them, unless they have already taken a hit from AT4/Javelin. It takes two not one AT4 or RPG and only one Stinger or Javelin. All the lock-on launchers very rarely miss Harriers but it does happen. Harriers do not have flares.

That makes sense. I was using an AT4 at fairly close range and I could see impact so I knew I wasn't missing. I think that in the past I was using a Stinger/Javelin but did not account for the difference as they show the identical damage rating in the weapon selection screen. Thanks!

javelin will miss a harrier if the game glitches and lock it on to the sky or the javelin drops back down but it has overshot the harrier( in this case the javelin will try to compensate but often it will do a complete 180 past the harrier coming back to where you shot it, happened to me once) vid link to prove the above in this case it kills the user
