I have noticed, though it could be a placebo effect, that some weapons seem to stick to the enemy better. Whenever i use the Magpul Ma...the ACR, then switch to the M4A1, I feel that the M4A1 has more sticky aim. Has anyone noticed this besides me?

That's the recoil kicking some of your shots close enough for aim assist to stick. Recoil can kick you away from the target when your aim is not dead on, but it can also kick you towards the target and enough for aim assist to kick in. The ACR having practically no recoil won't get as big of kicks towards the target, and thus fewer aim assisted hits, or fewer obvious ones, at any rate.
With aim assist recoil isn't always a bad thing, it sort of a lottery. Of course it will still kick shots off target when your aim is good, but when your aim is bad recoil is your friend.

I was just playing and noticed that when I look at someone with the M4A1, it stays glued to them as apposed to other weapons.

That's an awesome chart and great work but how did you test for ADS aim assist? (Especially for grenade launchers as I didn't even know grenade lauchers had aim assist as ADS doesnt seem to do anything for them.)
EDIT: I've been meaning to ask, what are the ranges? In Den's COD4 page you can clearly figure out what the ranges are from the numbers given and that "boxcar" range estimator. ^_^;; )

Nice chart, interesting that the M93 has the aim assist range as handguns, as it also has a much shorter draw time than the rest of the machine pistols. Basically its a handgun with burst fire so they threw it in the machine pistol category.
Also, I don't get the point of adding more assist for LMGs when you are only going to add that minuscule of an amount.

Other things to consider are the fact that you can use the M93 in last stand and that it is, in fact, an M9 variant. However, if they put it in pistols there would be five pistols and 3 MPs, and the MP attachments (sights and such) are better suited towards the M93 than the pistol attachment is (tactical knife).

More than likely the LMG's were tweaked more or less independently and simply arrived at a similar, but slightly varied range through testing and tweaking. As for the chart I would definitely like to know more about the methodology behind the testing as well as what platform it was performed on. It is a very nice chart, though! ;p
