While the changes are still on the test server. . . forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/overview-of-changes-currently-on-test-12-10-2013.161836/forums.station.sony.com/ps2/index.php?threads/infantry-weapon-changes-12-12-2013.162070/So, with Flak, direct impacts with explosives, such as rockets and grenades from a launcher, will not kill? With the Nanoweave nerfs (I'm not exactly sure how 20% small arms resist on body will change this) Flak seems like the way to go, but with the Under-Barrel Grenade Launcher nerf and other explosives nerfs, yet again, I'm not so sure. Can anyone help me make sense of these? ZOE, Launcher, Harasser, Prowler Anchor Mode, LMG hipfire, .75x ADS move speed multiplier, and laser sight changes. . . horray? I don't know about the sniper 'nerfs' (sniper and nanoweave nerfs have what net effect?), but the changes to vehicle weapons and stuff of 'defining a role' seems quite silly to me. Hitbox, audio, and projectile acceleration changes too.

Top players will be top players no matter how hard you nerf or buff something, especially in something like PS2 where a lot of cross-faction things are very similar. I have yet to see dot graph evidence to the contrary. This is a wild claim, but I exaggerate of course.
Statistics show that the NC's lower level players are on the whole worse than TR and VS low level players, but everything up from there is relatively even, and Higby says he's reluctant to buff the NC because some of the outlying badasses may shoot up far above their TR and VS 100BR supersoldier foils.
Some more data we've mined from the API says that Magriders are by far the most likely to have a fully manned vehicle, and while their secondaries aren't outperforming by a concerning margin, they certainly have the coolest secondaries.
If anything, the things we have on the Vanguard indicate that its users are more aggressive. Everybody knows in a tank vs tank battle that the Vanguard usually wins flat out and hands down, but. . . The Vanguard has the shortest life expectancy of all the faction specific tanks. The Vanguard has the slowest acceleration and top speed. How can they be so cocksure? It seems that their Shield ability, the "win button" as many non NC tankers have dubbed it, gives them the confidence to rush in, and they do well for the burst of time they're in there, though not the best against infantry, but it seems that NC pilots are either more stupid, or their maneuverability is what kills them. Granted some other part of the tank could be bad, but assuming that Vanguards will rush in more often the latter, bad maneuverability that is, seems to be the most probable cause of death. VS and TR tankers, on the other hand, are more conservative. But it isn't a purely good shield problem, their maneuverability in general kills them in a variety of situations. If the line is pushed back and they cannot retreat in time then they are dead, no matter 8 seconds of shielding. Strange. Due to the very tank people extend themselves places a slow giant shouldn't be, and end up paying for it. The same situations would be doubly concerning and at the same time not for the other tanks, though, they have no super shield and they have the general swiftness to have a better chance of escaping.
